Ordered this laser printer as was fed up with ink costs on inkjets which I have always used and only require black printing for my job. The cost of laser printers has come down a lot since I last looked a long time ago, so very happy with the price.
The printer is nice looking and doesn’t take up too much space and its super quick. Goes from laptop to start printing in 4 seconds. Perfect for my needs. Very happy with it.

Is my life better with this printer? Yes, a little. But otherwise, this is a crappy printer. We barely got 100 pages before it is asking for a toner refill. Also, the tone is pale. What happened to black means black? Obviously a spreadsheet jockey somewhere decided that they could save on 10% by reducing the amount of ink used. Nice one spreadsheet jockey, hope you got a raise for that. And: when scanning A4 there is a 3 millimeter deficit around the border. Was that another 10% saving? Also, you will enjoy the many hours it takes to set this grumpy printer up. Make sure you have many computers to try it out on, it may work on one of them, but we don’t know which one. If it stops printing, try unplugging it and plugging in again. Good luck.

For the price, you’ll get:
1. A wireless printer that’s a doddle to set up
2. Very fast scanner and printer
3. Decent software bundle with drivers
I’m knocking off a star because it is NOT a duplex printer (borderline false advertising). You have to re-insert the paper to make it print double-sided – and that is always a faff (you have to get the paper inserted perfectly into the narrow feeder tray – doing this for single documents is annoying).
If they actually manage to nail duplex printing in this price bracket, it would have been the perfect product, but due to the fact that it is not, I’m knocking off a star.

Installed dozens of printers over the years. This is the first that I have been unable to install.
Instructions are poor, the read out from the printer interface is poor, and HP “support” was a misnomer.
Sent it back after an hour trying to get it to work – that is plenty of time to spend on a printer.
Waste of time – you get what you pay for I suppose.

On connecting the printer and after some printed documents I started getting messages the cartridge was almost finished. There is no way a new cartridge would be empty by now. Usually, the print cartridge for personal use has lasted me over 12 months. Think this is in bad taste.

wireless function not compatible with my chromebook lap top, this is not made clear, also no colour ink ink this model which it does state but not clear enough, never sent any items back till this one and it cost £25 not happy hope i will be refunded or my bigger item purchases will be ordered eleseway in future .paul q c furniture,

I use this to print out manuals as a ham operator I go through a lot of ink cartridges ifound this printer easy on pocket good quality prints fast 👌

Print quality is good Once app was downloaded it worked well from phone. Not clear however if it has printed and you end up printing a second copy all too easily. Printer was bigger than expected
