First unit sent was faulty so not the best first impression. Replacement works fine. Nice height adjustable stand is good as this price point. The image displayed is pretty good, nothing amazing but at this price it’s better than I expected. Colours are good and response is plenty fast enough. My gaming improved moving to this from the laptops internal display. Overall happy and would recommend for anyone who needs a fast gaming display on a small budget.

I actually had high expectations for this monitor but on using it I was disappointed in its performance it didn’t seem any different to my 150pound hp monitor so unfortunately I’m returning it as for paying that price I woild like to see a noticeable difference

Awesome monitor. For my You tube gaming channel… GERTHINATOR GAMING!
Going from a 5Yr old Asus TN panel 40k 60hz to 1440p 240hz is night and day. Yes it’s a high price for a TN panel but the quality and brightness of the panel is way more than I had expected. I do most of my gaming at night so a IPS panel would be really harsh on the eyes.
I have no issue’s what so ever.
And yes this monitor is Vesa mountable, it comes with an adaptor bracket which a lot of reviewers on you tube seem to miss.

If you prefer frame rates over fancy graphics it’s a good product. Colours definitely need calibration, viewing angles are fine for this type of screen, nothing amazing nothing terrible. Software is AMAZING makes changing profiles etc a breeze with no need to lean over and wrestle with the back of the monitor (though the joystick control is definitely a nice touch). What wins this monitor a spot in my setup is its low latency/response times, no overshooting, no ghosting smooth, unbelievably responsive. If you play competitive games you’ll never go back to a 60hz setup ever again. All in all a great product but not cheap by any means.

The G-Sync is the key part of this monitor. It has great refresh rate which you will notice automatically at pumping up those scores. I previously played on a 4K TV and found I was getting killed a lot within the game when other players were using a monitor. Once this bad boy was turned on to say the tables had turned was an understatement. All round this is a great gaming monitor.

Arrived with damaged screen which had two puncture holes in it so returned straight away and decided to go to pc world to buy one instead.

The Omen 27 X is a great monitor but arrived with dead pixels, these pixels would turn off and on depending on the angle of the monitor, a replacement is being sought, for a 550 pound monitor this is silly, Upadate: the second one ordered never arrived though package marked as handed to resident, the third one arrived with issues simmilar to the first, if you want this tech before any other monitor then you will have to pay the price with quality, the second monitor showed the exact same pixels displaying the wrong colour and having dead pixels on arrival
Do not buy if you are looking for a quality monitor, only buy this if you want 1440p at 240hz and that is all you care about, as it seems to be the only thing the manufacturer has focused on

Mega Monitor – If you are having ANY doubts just watch the results on the Hardware Unboxed YouTube channel.
Great performance right out of the box (rare) and great performance right up and down the refresh rates (also very rare)
This has AMD Free Synce2 and also this is now included on NVIDIA GSYNC certified list on their website so it can easily handle dips in FPS lower than its optimum.
