I’ve been using this first class tablet daily for a year now and I completely and utterly adore it. The screen is truly superb and the quad speakers are a sensational sound stage. They are very loud with crisp treble, mids and a solid bass that I have never before experienced on a tablet. The desktop Windows-like feature is a welcome surprise, and the performance, design and build quality are all fantastic too. The Huawei Mediapad M5 10.8 LTE makes mobile phone calls and the Pro version comes with a stylus. It can easily compete or surpass similar products by Samsung. I’ve deducted a star because its C port has no out signal and therefore cannot be wire-connected to a larger TV screen, which would make the desktop mode even more enjoyable. Very odd but still highly recommended.

DO NOT BUY FROM SOTEL-ELECTRONICS.
Firstly I have to say the media pad is fantastic. However, SOTEL-ELECTRONICS can only supply a UK plug that has a 1.55amp output, and not the 2amp that the media pad needs, which is 25% down on the recommended supply.
If You are a high end user, ie video streaming, the plug they supply will not keep up with the drain on the device, I understand you can buy larger ones yourself, but after paying £360+should you be expected to. My advice buy one from a UK supplier.

Still trying to get this item removed from sale. its second hand, and at least 2 years old. do not buy, it’s not new.

Nothing to dislike about this tablet I find it light weight easy to use and would give a Samsung or ipad a run for the money. Got this at a bargain price I love it

This tablet accepts a uk sim card and can be used as a mobile phone!

Great product, I’ve used it as a primary phone for a couple of months, would be better if it had an ear price to listen to calls rather needing to use a headset. Screen is great, sound is load and clear. Finger print reader is quick.

Beautiful premium design, fast hardware, good sound quality and battery life. Productivity is possible using the Desktop Mode which works well. Only thing I dislike is that it’s not possible to change the resolution so the icons and text are huge.
