First, despite the Corona, I got the instant pot at an incredible speed! Thank you so much for that.
The product itself, just great. I already had an instant pot, from an older model, and I really liked it too, but there is nothing to compare. I’m a chef, at the Hilton, and I have quite an idea of how food is supposed to come out at the end of the process.
And no doubt, the instant pot gives the perfect end result.
Especially now that he has the new lid with the browning of the food, really no longer need anything else in the kitchen. I roast with it, make perfect rice every time, steam vegetables, gyoza, dumplings, fry onions, or any other ingredient before further preparation, even sous vide comes out perfect, time after time – and I have a sous vide device in my house, which is now completely abandoned.
Really, a perfect device, and with the new size, of 8 liters, really do not need any other device in the house, and this is not an advertisement, this is really my sincere opinion…

DO NOT BUY THIS AWFUL MACHINE. Very disappointed with this. All the buttons are “smart” programs and there appears to be little way of changing anything.
My previous instant pot had ways of adjusting temperatures. Not this one. I used to prove dough in my old one, just putting a bowl into the top and running the yoghurt setting with my own choice of temperature. Not this one. There isn’t a yoghurt setting and almost everything else demands a lid so even if I try a low bake, I can’t see what’s going on. It’s just awful. I’d like to return it but I used it before I realised just how shackled it is to its “smart” programs. What a con.

I’ve been pressure cooking and air frying for years and i thought I’d treat myself, as someone who has used them for around 16 years this is outstanding and so easy to use and more important whatever you cook might look really bad but it is breeze clean every time, you think your going to be over the sink for ages but a soak overnight and it just cleans straight off or let it cool down and again still a breeze just my preference to let it soak, I know there is one more very well known and a bit more expensive but remember if you have it on a work surface under a cabinet you won’t be able to open the lid as it’s on a hinge where this just lifts off without so no need to move it away from cupboards so saves more space

I thought I was going to enjoy it but it is by far the most useful appliance of it’s type. I’m using my oven far less thanks to it. I absolutely love it. I’m still learning how to use it but so far very impressed. I just wish I had purchased one sooner. There is no cooking guides but it’s pretty much like an oven so I follow cooking instructions.
It is sizeable and a bit heavy small kitchens may struggle to accommodate.

i am a big fan of Instant pot (Ipot) and I erally like their innovations. I upgraded to the 6L Evo Duo Plus recently, and I absolutely love it. I’d been thinking about getting an 8 litre Ipot to complement my 6L for a while, and when the Evo Crisp was announced, I signed up for notifications and bought it as soon as it was available.
It’s a really great piece of kit.
Pressure Cooking: If you already have an older Ipot, you’ll find this is an improvement on the pressure cooking front. The lid locks on easily and automatically, and the pressure release is easy. It doesn’t have any preset programmes (the space on the panel was needed for the Airfryer buttons), but it does remember what you chose last. Like all Ipots, it’s surprisingly quiet and amazingly efficient.
SousVide: The accurate temperature control (1 degree increments) means that the Sous Vide option is very useable and, being an 8L pot, there is plenty of room
The new feature though is the Airfryer/Grill (“broil”)/Roast /Bake…

This is an incredible machine!! I bought it as an upgrade to the Instant Pot DUO Plus I’ve had for a while. The size is great, I can get more in and I can make bigger cheesecake! It’s fabulous being able to pressure cook a whole chicken for 30 minutes, drain out the juices then switch lids and get a nice crispy skin on it!! I hardly need to use my oven, so it saves me a lot of money. Brilliant if you like to make jam, marmalade or chutney as gifts as you can make big batches very quickly and easily. Did I mention the cheesecake? 😋. Oh, and Christmas Pudding, plus sous vide steak that melts in your mouth!! Customer service is superb if you have any problems, and there is a wonderful UK community on Facebook with hundreds of tried and tested recipes. Highly recommended!!
