I’m disabled and have been on bed rest for a long time. I decided to get a fridge to keep next to my bed to keep cold drinks and snacks, and saw this fridge. It is advertised as silent, which for the most part is correct, except for the very loud and annoying fit it has every 30 minutes or so. I’m not sure if its decompressing, or what the fridge is doing? But it definitely doesn’t belong in any bedroom of a person who enjoys sleep!

They are also being dishonest about the capability of the freezer box, as they say…”treat yourself with some ice-cream from the freezer compartment!” Well no. Just no. I was excited and put a tub of ice-cream in the freezer compartment, but made sure to give it a day to really get cold. The top half of the ice-cream was gloopy and soft…almost melted, yet the bottom half was perfectly fine. It seems that only the bottom shelf of the freezer box is what freezes, and as a result it will cause ice to form on anything that is put on the top shelf of the…

Unfortunately like a few others who have bought this fridge, we have found that the freezer box iced up significantly during use. We bought the fridge for out studio annex that we are currently living in, whilst our house is being renovated and we now have nowhere to store food, drinks, milk etc without going to the main house which is currently a building site. There is also an unpleasant odour coming from the fridge, presumably leakage of cyclopentane gas, which according to the safety data sheet is highly flammable and in high concentrations may cause asphyxiation. Our studio is a small space, only 1 main room plus an adjoining small shower room and separate toilet area (28m2 in total, 16m2 the main room the fridge is in), I am asthmatic also, so to say that the strong odour of cyclopentane is alarming is an under-statement. This is a key safety concern, luckily we have an Airflow Ventilation system fitted within our studio, as the fridge started to leak the cyclopentane gas…

After unpacking i realised the door was stuck. Then it wouldn’t close. Had to fix it myself. I shouldn’t have to do this on a brand new item. See video.
I got this for bedroom. It is annoyingly loud so i will move it. Every 5 minutes it makes a loud knock and then the usual noise fridges make kicks in. Super annoying.
The quality of the fridge is absolutely shocking. The door seals are not glued properly. Theres minor imperfections like the logo on the door isnt even straight. Like cmon.
It does make the drinks cold though on medium setting. Only my 2nd day so will see how it goes. I bought this with Amazon voulchers. I would not pay full price for this.

So far everything I had hoped for , having worked right from the word Go. – and looking Far classier than online. I have this in my studio-flat [ kitchen /bed-living .room ], and I’m not disturbed by the sound at all. I knew the LIMITED SPACE I was buying , and I knew that the little freezer-box had a ‘flap-lid ‘ rather than a solid Door : SO, I got exactly what I ordered , as described online. In perfect order and beautiful to ( sit and ) look at , especially at such a market-reasonable price- ( the lowest I could find ). If it continues to work for the next year or so without problems , I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this Half – a – Fridge : AS LONG AS you’re fully aware of the ACTUAL (limited) space in such table-top fridges generally , this one should hopefully make you as HAPPY as it has me***** [ added review : Knew I would forget something : TEMPERATURE! I have this mini-fridge on level 3, out of a possible maximum of 6 , and the milk cartons and jars stored within it are VERY…

Garbage. The freezer compartment constantly produces loads of ice, even on a low thermo setting, and I’m having to constantly empty the fridge to thaw it out. The top shelf, where the pathetic tiny freezer compartment is located, is always colder than the middle & bottom of this fridge. I’m having to place my food where the temp best suits the food types – I absolutely regret buying this!! I advise you do not buy this and waste your money on a product that you will find nothing but a headache! I purchased this just under a year ago and I want to return and get my money back (?!) – we live frugally enough & been lumbered with this junk, has been nothing but frustrating?!!! I’ve included a photo taken just a week after defrosting the whole stupid freezer compartment.
