This keyboard is an improvement over my original Dell in as much that the keys are a lower profile making typing a breeze. It is wider (longer depending on your definition), running along the wrist rest. This means further arm movement to the numbers on the right – I would have preferred it to be more compact and I still haven’t gotten used to the additional distance – several inches would you believe (yeah-yeah you might laugh but it does make a difference)! However, for the price point at the time I really can’t complain. It isn’t a silent strike, therefore if you are a touch typist like myself, it can be a little clackity clack until you get into the rhythm and it becomes part of the background hum.
So pros: lower profile keys than some, excellent price point – and oh yes a good long cable – always essential when not going wireless.
Cons: the main one being the size – sometimes it does matter! Particularly if you have a smaller hand/arm like myself – but I will get used to it and…

Pretty much as the title says. Anyone who has worked in an office will be familiar with these types of keyboards. Not too lound, not whisper silent, not too tactcile, not too musy to type with. Much prefer having this on my desk as opposed to a wireless keyboard which can cause issues with the wifi. I also very much like the form factor, it’s quite a trim keyboard and angular which I prefer.
I’m pretty much typing all day everyday and with working from home, my laptop keyboard whilst good and very tactile, I was finding more typos mistakes than usual. I find with this keyboard, I’m making less typos and landing my key presses more often than with my laptop, or my other wireless keyboard which had flatter buttons.
Anything to mention is the height of the keys – they’re more pronounced which is a better design in my opinion. A lot of keyboards nowadays seems to have flatter keys which I’ve never liked.

Like many I’ve been working from home recently, hunched over a laptop, having to look around the keyboard for PrtSc, Home, End, PgUp, PgDn, etc.
This sub ยฃ10 keyboard feels great, is full sized, and has every key RIGHT WHERE IT SHOULD BE.
No need to look down, my productivity is up because I can type faster, and more accurately.

I love this keyboard. It is fantastic for fast and stealthy typing, the mechanics are pleasing and it looks nice enough.
However, it’s a huge design flaw that when a key pops off, it cannot be replaced for love nor money.
I haven’t had a ‘3’ key since a few days after I bought it, after it somehow managed to detach. It’s not a showstopper, but it’s quite a shame to know that if any of the others come off at all, I’ll have to a get on without them.
As most keyboards can have the buttons removed and replaced with ease, this is slightly annoying, but I can still use the number without much bother.
Regardless, still very much worth a purchase; I’d probably buy one again regardless!

It is a lovely keyboard. I love the sound it makes, how it harmonises with my fingers, how it echoes romantically in the circular corners of my home office space. Even my plant likes it and if I had a dog, I think he or she or they would like it.
I don’t need to look down. I don’t need to hunch. I don’t need to suffer anymore. I don’t need to punish my ligaments. I didn’t need to anyway but, for some unconsciously tragic reason, I did. My faith in myself, my limbs and my spirit is restored.
Buy this keyboard! If you prefer to buy ยฃ8.00 worth of beer or mediocre quality chocolate instead of this keyboard, shame on you.

I’ve used Kensington products for years. I was not expecting to find a value keyboard from them, but this is exactly as expected. Has a very robust build quality, peace of mind for key bashers like myself. The keys are definitely not silent, but the layout and ergonomics are spot on – if you’re a fast typist, you won’t make many incorrect entries. It also looks slightly less shiny than the photo, which was nice.

This product does exactly what I need it to… all I need it for is internet use and writing word documents. I bought this since university is closed due to the pandemic and I use a laptop stand at home to bring the screen at a better height so I don’t have to bend and hurt my back.
I just had to plug this in and it set up on my laptop within seconds.

I bought this keyboard as on my gaming setup at home I was previously using a cheap clunky “Havit” keyboard which was ok for some light gaming here and there however since COVID-19 pandemic has caused me to work from home, I needed something comfortable to type with all day, especially as I work in IT so needed something quick, comfortable and responsive.
Got to say for ยฃ20 I wasn’t expecting it to be amazing but did have a certain level of expectation given the reviews and I can happily say it surpassed my expectations completely. The scissor keys feel so nice to type on, very responsive, enough of a click sound that you can here keys you miss but not too loud that it’s annoying, good weight to it and generally a very high quality product. Never realised how much of a difference it would make, only wish I’d bought it sooner.
So as per the above, highly recommend, well worth the money, already planning on replacing my dell keyboard in the office with another one of these when I go…
