Quite simply the worst mouse I’ve ever used. Yes, it feels comfortable in your hand and the buttons are easy to click but doing the job it’s designed for, i.e. controlling the pointer onscreen, it fails spectacularly. I’ve used £5 mice which are far more responsive and controllable than this Kensington mouse.Even simple tasks like moving pointer across screen and all of a sudden the mouse loses the pointer or just randomly shifts it in a different direction. Hold down the button to pick an icon up and move it across screen and halfway across the mouse decides it no longer wants to be holding the icon so just drops it. Movement is vague and sometime I have to click on something 2 or 3 times before the mouse register the click.
Really disappointing considering the price paid for it, I’ve never spent so much on a mouse and was expecting so much more, next I’ll just stick with a cheap basic Microsoft branded mouse, performance will be far better than this.

This is a very good mouse. I’ve got the full size version, and it’s very comfortable to hold and to use. It’s sensitive and responsive, with no apparent delay in cursor movement. The cursor speed can be adjusted between normal and fast mode (one of 2 settings using the dpi switch).

On the upper left hand side of the mouse there are two small back and forward web browser buttons. However, I find it easier and quicker to use the mouse cursor – especially if the mouse is switched to fast mode.

The mouse uses two AA batteries (2 alkaline batteries are supplied). When not in use, the mouse can be switched off from underneath. I’m using the mouse with a Windows 10 laptop. No additional drivers were required. I only needed to plug the supplied receiver into a USB port; press the ‘connect’ buttons on the mouse and on the receiver and it worked immediately. Overall, it’s much better than my previous mouse, which was more expensive.

For someone with larger hands / longer fingers, this full size…

Kensington website does NOT mention this mouse has a power saving mode that turns it OFF after 5 minutes of inactivity AND moving the mouse is NOT sufficient to wake it, NOPE I’ve gotta click a button and clicking a button sometimes CLICKS something on the screen that I don’t wanna click, which is very annoying. Kensington fail to mention their software for their mice doesn’t work for this model ‘THE PRO MODEL’ so I install it ONLY to find it doesn’t work. I’ll avoid Kensington in the future. This is an OK mouse but it’s not good for small hands and the shape doesn’t help comfort at all.

    ———UPDATE—————

AFTER FIVE MONTHS I HATE THIS MOUSE! AWFUL, TERRIBLE! I’ve not had three days without it dropping out and needing to unplug the receiver and plug it back in. I’d love to swear lots and should have kept the box and sent it to Kensington and asked for MY MONEY.

    ———UPDATE—————
Kensington sent me a replacement mouse and it was the same problems. I had a…

Update after 8 months use and these are still the best mice I have. Accurate to use, good relation between physical movement and pointer acceleration and speed, with other makes of mice, esp cheap ones (and this is a cheap mouse also) sometimes there is a mismatch and the pointer moves too quickly or too slowly and can’t be adjusted or fine tuned, or feels too jumpy.
This one just moves when moved, points and clicks with good accuracy and feel/feedback.

I use the fastest setting in Windows as I like a faster response and this mouse hardware combined with the software works really well for me. Others might find a different experience, but of all the mice I’ve owned (including a SteelSeries Rival 600 – bar the difference in quality of the gaming mouse), this is the best responding mouse.

I just needed a replacement mouse. I won the jackpot on this, the quality of this mouse is amazing, smooth motion, particularly with a soft foam/cloth mouse mat, the scroll wheel is solid with a…
