As it is has not got any details of the manufacturers on, in or on website I could not insure the laptop as it was for my granddaughter to do her school work now she has to self isolate, shame so sending back to Amazon and replacing it with a named product

Wanted a low cost, basic laptop for my year 4 son to do schoolwork on. Arrived very quickly, looked great. Started it up and it was incredibly slow – to the point where you clicked on something, went and made a cup of tea and came back to find it just about opening. I ran all the Windows updates and anything else I could think of (I work in IT so have a fair idea of what I am doing) but, looking at the task manager, there was an unidentifiable driver using anywhere between 75 and 98% of the CPU – meaning nothing left to actually run anything else. I emailed the seller and explained the situation. Their response was that it didn’t need any updates doing to it and that was how it was, if I wanted to I could return it. So I have.

Update: after 1 month the laptop stopped turning on for no reason. The seller doesn’t answer for this reason I suggest not to buy this

When I opened the box in which the only thing written on it is “computer” I though that probably I’ve bought a plastic toy for kids.
when I pressed the “on” button it actually turned On and moreover it’s even fast enough to allow web surfing, videos streaming and light gaming (I installed age of empires II)
I did not expect anything because you know, it’s a cheap laptop.
but my mother loves it, it’s very light and the screen quality is very good. Another good thing is that you can upgrade the memory inside (which is only 64Gb) with an SSD.
I plugged a 256GB SSD and it was recognized with no problems.
The laptop came with already installed few essential softwares, among them, a light version of office, which allows to write and read documents in a faster way then MS Office.
I’ve tried to install gimp and it works fine..
Audio is good and battery last…

Although the reviews were good for this the laptop is incredibly slow, the default browser is bing which is awful and you canโt delete for love or money despite me trying several different help topics online to get rid, Microsoft edge is not great. Donโt waste your money spend a couple hundred more and get something that is faster with a better processor. All three of my household tried this laptop for different things the overall sensor was very slow at everything! It went back !

First I’ll point out that this computer as it comes is pretty much useless. The 64Gb drive won’t last five minutes before filling up. But add a SSD hard drive and you’ve got a machine that’s good for the price. It could do with more RAM though. The quaint manual that comes with it says the drive expansion slot is M.2 whereas it’s actually SATA. Oh and the keyboard is US not UK. If you can work around these limitations and don’t expect to work it hard, you’ll do all right with this.
EDIT: Just over a week of use and the WiFi failed completely. Returned for refund.

ย This was bought as my eldest sons laptop gave up the ghost a few weeks ago and we needed a quick replacement, it’s a really slim laptop and fits nicely in his desk out of the way, don’t expect gaming power but for the word processing and research purposes he uses it for its absolutely perfect, it actually came with a word processor on the device so no need to install anything and it works straight out the box. Battery power is OK but due to the size it won’t last long u plugged so its best to keep the charger near.
