This laptop boots very quickly but that’s about it.

Even after letting windows update everything and removing all the usual bloatware that comes with a laptop, this thing was still incredibly slow at anything.

I went as far as stopping everything I could with regards to software from loading up as soon as you start windows (a lot of apps and software like spotify and malwarebytes do this) and it was still slow.

Everything from browsing the web to streaming a movie really struggled on this thing.

Had to return which is a shame as it was a birthday present and really did put a downer to the day.

Omg this is absolutly awful. It’s so slow it’s unreal. It just shuts programes down while you’re in the middle of something. I wanted to use it with zoom or Skype and there isn’t a hope. I’m all day waiting for it to load. I’ve just created a pdf that took me 2 hours and I’ve tried to open it and got this. That’s it. I’m sending it back, it’s useless.

The laptop looks OK externally but the first thing that you notice, outside of the saccharine monologue delivered by Cortana, who is attempting to draw your attention from the fact that Microsoft would like you to absentmindedly sign away all of your data rights to Microsoft, including key strokes, so in other words, literally everything you type, is how garish and poor the screen quality is. The second, and most profoundly annoying thing about this is that absolute joke of a laptop is unbelievably slow. It crashed on two occasions when I tried to access Outlook, and a further time when attempting to watch a YouTube video. You would find faster web access from an Amsterdam internet cafe. Furthermore you have to physically switch off “Microsoft S,” which otherwise prohibits you from downloading anything not made by Microsoft. Such as Google Chrome. The machine comes with a built in subscription to McAfee, but crashed when this was installing. It created a Lenovo email account for me…

i bought this for my daughter, so that she could work from home during the corona virus epedemic. she found it so easy to install and set up. her IT department transferred all the files she needed to work and and that meant she could work from home 3 days a week as she is a manager for a assisted living complex. shes not easily pleased but this she found to be a great asset

We bought this to replace a 5-year-old Lenovo netbook. It’s a nice-looking machine but it proved slow, clunky and basically incapable of streaming video. We tried iPlayer, ITV hub, Amazon video and Netflix (if I remember properly). At first we used Microsoft Edge when there wasn’t an app available for Windows 10 S, then upgraded to Windows 10 Home (which was very easy), but things didn’t improve. It starts OK, but just gets more jerky and clunky. Is the chip underpowered? This machine was far worse than our existing Atom-powered netbook, which streams just fine onto our video projector. Surprising and disappointing.

Well done to the supplier for refunding us immediately; it gives confidence to buy from them again.

It’s unbelievably slow… previous laptop was just ยฃ199 from unnamed brand, BUT the previous one was much faster than this one…. I bought for Zoom and Google Drive documents work …not able to do my job and even typing documents also so slow… I have Virgin business quality internet provide around 200mbps… Just and only this laptop catch internet speed under 60mbps in anyway ….

Not able to do just normal office work…… BUT the seller said it’s normal
