Needed to replace my 10 year old Lenovo N500 and have been looking at various laptops, but none had just the right spec for my needs (i5, 8GB RAM, SSD, good price), but the T440 ticked all the boxes. Ordered it and received it in good time and due to its speed compared to my old laptop, it was up and running and typing into Facebook within 15 minutes. Great purchase and an overall great experience, so far.

Absolutely brilliant value. We use these devices at work so I know the T450s is a good laptop. The quality of the item I received is amazing. It’s like it came brand new from the factory. MicroDream is an incredible company. The computer looks fantastic, is high spec and lightning fast. It was comprehensively tested and came with a report of all the tests done (loads) and the results. I wish I had known about MicroDream before I bought my father a bog standard consumer device last year.
I will return to this company in the future, via Amazon or direct if they are not selling on Amazon. And speaking of Amazon, delivery was spot on. Thanks!

I hate computers! Theyโre designed by geeks for nerds. Iโm of average intelligence but even when I diligently follow the on-screen instructions, things donโt always go as they should when it comes to computersโฆโฆ thatโs when things get stressful!
So you can imagine I had some serious concerns about buying a โrenewedโ laptop. In particular, the physical condition of a โrenewedโ machine (especially having taken a closer look at some refurbished ones on other websites) and wasnโt looking forward to setting up another machine from scratch, when my old Dellโs LCD screen started leaking.
But happy days! I took delivery of my Lenovo Thinkpad T440 from Computer Remarketing Services (CRS) and it looks like new! Iโve looked everywhere on the machine and all I can find is a slight bit of wear on the silver plating on the โOโ of the Lenovo logo on the lid and a slight 0.5mm variation on the gap between the battery compartment lid and the main casing! Yep, I know, and that is nitpicking.

Very impressed. A refurbished T440 unit with SSD storage, Core i5 processor, non-glare non-reflective IPS screen with nightlight, weighing less than 2 lbs – what’s not to like?. Especially at the price.
Although the seller had done a good job at trying to return the outside matt black finish to its ex-factory finish, there were still a few (barely visible) scratches which I found to be more than acceptable. However, on opening the lid, the screen and keyboard with surrounding fascia were immaculate. Add to that the speed compared with my previous Lenovo, a 15.6 in. 1TB HDD unit and I am a very pleased customer.

I’ve had this a few months now and overall happy, here are my pros and cons (not many cons tbh)
Pros:
Looks basically new. (I wasn’t sure when ordering what to expect but looks good)
The main one for me is that its quick, I bought it to play games on. More old-school nostalgia games off Steam like Command and Conquer remastered or Rollercoaster Tycoon, so not sure how good it will be with bigger, modern games. But for the games I use it for its very quick.
It boots up instantly, very responsive when using. Quicker than my other work laptop by a mile. So if you’re just using this for work you’ll be fine as chrome and other apps are responsive.
Picture quality is clear
Its pretty lightweight I bought the Inateck 15-15.6 Inch Shock Resistant Laptop Sleeve for it and fits nicely.
It’s a lot cheaper than other laptops, especially new.
For my first refurb I’m pleasantly surprised.
Cons:
One or two slight scratches or marks, you can tell its not brand new but its very minor and doesn’t impact…
