This review is for how excellent the screen quality is.
You’ll need to play around with the setting to get the best out of this 27″ LG monitor but as usual LG never fails to impress.
For this price, I’d expect a remote, a USB, and optical port on the back panel.
It’s a solid workhorse of a monitor for your PC, and you can hook it up by HDMI, or display port…there is only one of each.
It’s a lovely looking 4K UHD HDR visual pleasure…playing XBOX ONE X on here is niiiice,. using a Fire stick 4K looks fantastic also.
Just not happy with the false advertising of its screen refresh rate, for ยฃ255, I did expect 144 Hz, but that’s an issue I’ll settle with Amazon UK.

I recently bought a PS5 and I’ve been looking for a budget 4k monitor to play games on. There are plenty of more expensive options out there, but I stumbled across this and I have to say it looks stunning for the price. Buying monitors can sometimes be a lottery and I noticed that other reviewers complained about light bleed, but I’m pleased to say I had absolutely no problems. In fact I couldn’t spot any lightbleed whatsoever and it looks crystal clear when playing games in native 4k. It does have HDR 400 but the results can vary depending on the content. I’ve played a few hours of Spider-man in 4k HDR and it looks absolutely stunning though
I only had one minor issue. When I plugged in my PS5 there was no picture whatsoever and I considered returning it. It turns out there’s a setting under general called “HDMI ULTRA HD Deep Color”. bought this monitor for when the xbox series x is released and im very impressed so far.
ive used my xbox one s and hdr gaming is superb, colors and picture is fantastic, ive tried watching 4k videos on prime, youtube and a 4k blu ray and im very impressed with the quality.
i also have my pc hooked upto it, it has 2 hdmi ports and 1 display port. a headphone jack for speakers or headphones.
ive paired the monitor with logitech z200 speakers and is sounds excellent.
a must buy for any gamer or pc user in general.

Well when I seen this monitor reduced to ยฃ250.00 I spent a good couple hours reading reviews and everyone pretty much praised it and now I’ve set the monitor up with G/Sync I 100% understand why… The Monitor in 4K is brilliant and looks really nice out the Box. Colours pop really nice and 4k content looks amazing.

Great Colours out the Box.
Nvidia G/sync works from the Nvidia Control menu. ( Select Freesync in Monitor settings menu to FAST first ) Also you need to make sure Vsync is selected in the Nvidia Control panel to ON.
The menu you change settings has to be the easiest I’ve ever used on any monitor , So easy to change settings , you have about 10 different picture and Video modes to pick from but I found the custom one looked the best right out the box.
Compared to my old ASUS IPS id say the colours where pretty much the same & I’ve been using that for the past 5 years to edit Photos in lightroom and ~Photoshop.
Windows 10 upscales Text to 150% and works really well.

I bought the 27UL600 as a second display for my 16in MBP, & to say I’m happy with it is a massive understatement. I was quite concerned about the issues other people had faced with this monitor (backlight issues seem to be a common issue), but mine arrived with no issues. The panel itself is incredibly crisp & bright, with pretty accurate colours – if you’re a creative who needs screen real estate when working in NLE’s or other professional tools, this is a great monitor. The matte finish & thin bezels are also nice touches, and the included silver stand blends nicely with overpriced fruit computers.
If you’re a hardcore gamer it’s probably best to invest in a monitor with a higher hertz rate & response time, but if you’re a casual with some GPU power under your belt this panel’s a worthwhile investment.
Oh, and there’s just something oddly amusing about having to zoom Word documents to 500% just to see them from a distance ๐

I don’t know if it was my screen or my eyes, but my previous screen (24″ WQXGA) was getting difficult to read.
There are no expensive graphics cards here, just the onboard HDMI socket (it’s not for playing games), but the screen looks perfect to me.
Graphics are punchy and vivid, but more importantly to me, even though text is smaller it’s absolutely pin sharp and easy to read. Programming is now much easier.
I haven’t adjusted anything – it was perfect straight out of the box.
