Logitech’s B100 is the perfect – never been bettered – everyday use mouse.
For games other than basic fare, forget it and look elsewhere.
For Office and similar productivity apps and for everyday use, it’s the perfect mouse.
The feel, grip and resolution are superb. The plastic moulded construction is robust and hardwearing.
The mouse wheel has great feel and perfectly calibrated resistance for precision scrolling.
A solidly moulded cable – no cheap or loose wiring – means the mouse will last for years even when plugged/unplugged and carried in a laptop bag.
The best two button and scroll wheel wired mouse you can buy.

I have a similar looking Logitech mouse that served me for more than 10 years.
Then the centre wheel stopped working. So I bought the B100 to replace.
This is a value for money product, which will prove, I am sure to be a reliable and long lasting mouse.
I also have a wireless mouse but prefer the wired type. when using a desktop PC. Why bring a battery into the equation.

I needed a PC mouse to replace another that had started behaving strangely. I find my cordless ones only work for a day or two on rechargeable batteries, probably because they are lower voltage than non-rechargeables, and having to change them so often gets quite annoying. I chose this Logitech mouse for its long cable and because the cable length was stated in the description. (Why don’t they ALL give this important detail?). This mouse was at a bargain price and I have been very happy with it for the month it’s been in use.
Lies, all lies. –
Durable, Reliable.
What else is there to say about this product? Well, thank you for asking, I’ll tell you.
To date this mouse has survived much abuse, every single death in Counterstrike to an AWPER on Dust II is superseded by the usual ritual of throwing my mouse across the room in a blind rage and it has yet to shatter once, allowing me to repeat the crushing cycle of being killed by a Russian child playing on a coal powered toaster again and again, if only my Ego was as durable as this mouse my life would be less unfulfilled and devoid of any redeeming moments.

The first thing I noticed about this mouse was the weight – it’s absolutely feather light compared to an outwardly identical Logitech mouse (of the same model number – M-U0026) that I bought two or three years ago.
When I opened up both mice, I could clearly see the reason – the older mouse has a small metal weight bolted into it, this one doesn’t (although it does still have the mounting holes for it).
I can’t complain too much. The mouse is very cheap, and still works well for what it is. It’s just that the removal of the weight makes the mouse far too light to be comfortable to use. I solved this by screwing in a weight from an old, broken, Logitech mouse. It’s now perfect. If you don’t happen to have scrap parts from an old mouse, I would recommend taping some coins or something inside this mouse just to give it some heft.
Logitech – was it really worth it to save a few cents by taking the weight out? Without it, it feels like a pound shop or dollar store mouse.

I bought this mouse by accident as I actually wanted a PS2 mouse and this came up in the search results. Regardless, this is a nice little mouse.
It’s a nice size and feels ergonomic in the hand. Most importantly, it’s very responsive and super smooth when using it on a computer and that’s what it’s all about isn’t it?!
Comfortable to use, a nice size and very responsive. A great usb mouse for a great price!

I bought two mice at the same time as I wasn’t sure which would be most suitable for me. The mice I bought were this “Logitech B100 Optical USB Ambidextrous Mouse” and the
Microsoft Basic Optical Mouse – Black (Business Packaging)
. Here is what I made of them when giving them a test:
Physically both mice are near identical in size. However, the Logitech actually feels smaller in the hand – I think this sensation is caused because the Logitech has a pronounce “hump” as part of its design, and that just seems to make it feel smaller. Also the Logitech mouse doesn’t have sculpted sides, while the Microsoft mouse does. Overall the Microsoft mouse sits much more comfortably in the hand. In these respects I preferred the Microsoft mouse, it just felt that bit better.
Cable Length: Logitech = 69-70 inches Microsoft = 71-72 inches. Difficult to do the exact cable length because of the kinks in the cables. In any case the cable length for both mice is quite adequate.
