I was very sceptical at first as my PC is upstairs in a converted loft and didn’t think that the distance from my pc to my router would reach the antenna as it literally looked like a usb stick with an optional antenna attachment, however after attaching said antenna and literally plugging it into the USB 3.0 Port at the back of my PC , my PC recognised it as a Wi-Fi USB stick and installed the drivers before I could get back up from behind the computer and check the screen to see if it was recognised by windows then went onto proceed to give me the entire neighbourhoods selection of access points I could connect to including 5ghz connections which even my PS4 isn’t even capable of connecting too despite being right next to my router.
The USB adapter does come with a small form factor disk not to dissimilar to a GameCube disk if anyone is familiar with those consoles and instructions, however now a days windows 10 recognizes pretty much everything you plug into it unless it is not…

the product is very well packed and very y fast not a big size – neat and dainty even thought it has an antenna. Fantastic value for money.

This is almost as fast as a wired connection and tbh there really is not much in it as you can see from the pictures.
Installation was a breeze as Windows 10 installed the drivers straight off.
My Virgin router is not that far away but I didn’t want trailing cables everywhere so opted for this.
No complaints whatsoever it just works.

I bought this for my daughter who is an avid gamer, she knows the difference between 2.4 and 5ghz and ping latency. Anyhow she is in seperate room about 8 metreS from router divided by plasterboard wall. I am on 76mb Vod BB and speed test result was 73mb. Result. I bought this as it had the largest external antenna and is plug and play with win 10, did not disappoint.

I’ve had this for 1.5 months and honestly I’ve used a much cheaper on in the past from a router with a much poor signal and has much better speeds and realiability.
This one is POOR and my old ipad, an android and other devices all have 100% signal and all fast, yet this dongle it’s always 60% signal and unrealiable.
It’s normally when you start up your PC, I have to restart the connection a few times to get one that’s just “okay”
I’m a software developer, I also builds PCS, so please don’t think “oh they’re just useless they don’t know what they’re doing” I only bought this one because my much cheaper dongle was lost in my move, I decided to go with this one thinking it should be better (as it’s double the price) but wow was I wrong!

The answer to all my problems at last.
I used to connect my PC via an ethernet cable through a powerline adapter, but it use to drop the connection๐ a lot and I mean a lot ๐ก๐คฌ, turn on an appliance on the same electrical ring main- drop the connection, switch off something – connection drop, boiler fires up – connection drop, you get it and it happened so much that playing games that needed a constant connection was out of the question.
Not any more… I can connect directly to my Fibre Broadband Router with 5G and I get a brilliant connection thanks to this little beauty. I average over 300mbs download and nearly 100mbs upload and that’s with my two lads upstairs with their gaming pc’s connected as well. NO DROP OUTS – REPORTED TO DATE ๐
Extremely pleased, happy๐ and over the moon with this dongle and for just over ยฃ10 – awesome ๐

Screwed in the Arial to the dongle (that will rotate to help miss any other USB ports – mine was left in the vertical position), plugged in the back of my windows desktop PC (which is 2 floors above the wireless router) – within 10 seconds I got the option to choose what network to join (little icon near the time), clicked icon – selected network and entered password – Now online.
Did a speed test and got the same results as other wireless devices.
Note: At the beginning, I got a message “Not Connected To The Internet” 5 seconds later I was online.
This was probably windows firewall related and not the dongles fault – though I should mention this to help prevent panic.

Bought to replace a similar dongle which had progressed from frequently losing internet connection to almost never achieving a connection. Once installed this device works well with a better signal strength and, so far, has maintained a perfect connection. Happy customer.
But the installation: The specified location to download a driver did not appear to exist. Having to download a driver for a device who’s purpose is to enable downloads is not a good idea. I couldn’t get the QR code to do anything, but that is probably my problem. The driver on the mini CD installed easily and seems to work fine although for some reason it didn’t initially connect until Windows network troubleshooter selected the correct router.
