I have to say I generally find premixed protein shakes have a better texture and powders rarely taste as good. However, this is quite nice, makes a nice thick shake that’s quite sweet. I don’t get a buzz from the caffeine, but it does help muscle building combined with targeted weight training, and is much lower in calories than other lines. The packaging has changed since I last used Promax Lean, but it’s just as good. The only criticism is it’s quite expensive and if you’re taking the recommended 2 portions a day it’ll only last two weeks (but good protein shakes are always pricey).

Well I got this as I used to use maximuscle lean and thought this one was the same as the old one. Nope it wasnโt. I tried one mouthful and in seconds I threw out the rest of the drink from my cup and then threw up. Obviously my taste is different to others and some may like it I think it is vile. Shame I canโt return for a refund. If anyone wants the rest of the tub itโs yours!

Love this palitable and works. Only problem is it gives me bad headaches. So have to have it 3 days on 3 days off

Ive had this product a few years before. It was good enough, however this time the taste is completely awful and yuck. Makes you feel icky and also have had a skin reaction (itchiness and pimples/pus) even though Iโve never suffered from acne and I drink milk all the time so I am lactose tolerant not intolerant. Not sure what in the product is causing this. I stopped for a few days and my skin improved. Tried it again for trial and error and same reaction. So unfortunately not a good product for me. I have however seen improvements in muscle mass and resistance in one week and have already gotten stronger at the gym.

Iโm a PT and I recommend this to all my clients as:
1) One of the best flavours on the market
2) For protein porridge, it keeps its thickness (some protein powders make the porridge watery).
3) Great amount of protein per serving too!
Love it and doubt Iโll chang anytime soon!

Having used this brand of supplement for many years now, I was surprised to find that the strawberry flavour batch I have recently received mixes very poorly and I’m always left with a lot of large lumps in the shaker bottle. The chocolate flavour I’ve been using up till now never had this issue and I’m using good quality shakers too but it’s still impossible to get a lump-free shake. Not happy

Tastes good, easy to mix. Noticed improvement in muscle definition and tone after just one week. It will only last two weeks at the recommended 2 portions a day. Making it quite expensive. But Iโm hoping the results will be worth it considering Iโve noticed a difference already. 1st few days excess gas being produced and stomach rumbling. However seems to have settled now.
