I’ve always rated Microsoft products quite highly but this mouse was a disappointment. This is the largest one I have had but the shape made it fit my hand and fingers perfectly and that would have been fine if finger presses were recognised. Unfortunately it was necessary to have the finger right on the edge of the left button for it to register and even then it failed about 10% of the time. Right presses and wheel presses were recognised all the time. Because of the price I didn’t bother to exchange it and put up with it. Bad idea as the warranty period expired last month and it’s now died! Looking for a replacement now.

Bought to replace a previous Microsoft mouse.
This one though only has one battery, … and the net effect of that is that it is too lightweight.
Too light = flies around the screen too fast (and I use a fabric type of mouse mat which will be slowing it down a bit!)
…. and the effect of that is you have think more when you are using it, in order for it not to dart around the screen.
Also a proper length one would be minimum 11cm in length.
This one is 10cm length, which may not seem much difference, but it is in terms of the way your hand encapsulates it.
= you have to scrunch up your hand more (even if you have medium sized hands)
Not as bad a Logitech ones which are typically way too small / thin, and probably designed by people who use laptop mouse-pads!
The scroll wheel is not that great either, lots of scrolling / winding of it and does not move that much / that fast, especially when working on / viewing long documents or web pages.
I expect it is not helped by the fact the wheel is…

So far so good … no complaints! It is the perfect colour!
The only think I do want to moan about is that Microsoft have not made a matching keyboard!!!!! Itโs so hard to find a baby pink keyboard UK layout! So Iโve gone with a rose gold one as thatโs as close as I could get!

In search of a new mouse, I found that the TeckNet mice with extra buttons were some of the best selling… I was unsure, but I bought one because I believed the reviews. Long story short, the mouse came with a broken scroll wheel out of the box. So I returned it, and decided that I’d rather have a quality mouse straight from Microsoft and so far I haven’t been disappointed. It’s pretty basic at ยฃ10, it’s not the most ergonomic, but I feel confident that it will last… One thing most people never discuss about wireless mice is the USB dongle that comes with it. I’ve had many wireless mice over the years and almost all of the adapters end up breaking, leaving the mouse useless… but this adapter has no creases along the plastic where it might split like other wireless mice do. Microsoft knows what they’re doing when it comes to mice. I don’t care about how many positive reviews other mice have, I want something that will last!

This is a simple three button mouse with scroll wheel and it works exactly as it should. After inserting the usb receiver it connected to my windows 10 laptop hassle free and was up and running in seconds. The range seems good, I’m getting at least 8ft, works well and is not to big, so carrying around is not a problem. The mouse also contains a little holder in the battery compartment for the receiver, which has proved very useful.
I like it, there’s nothing fancy about it but it does the job. Thumbs up from me.

In my experience, Microsoft make the best mouses. I bought this as a replacement for one I’d had for about 6 years. At that time it cost me ยฃ10, so I definitely got my money’s worth, I expect nothing less with this one.
I drop my mouse a LOT, sometimes it gets drop kicked. I have an unfortunate twitch that means sometimes my mouse literally gets launched across the room into the wall, so, I need something sturdy and well made, it needs to be able to take the kind of abuse that I dish out. I have no doubts this mouse can deal with that and will last me a long time.
And it’s purple!
I would definitely recommend this item.

This is the best wireless mouse I have ever used and it is at such a good price. I have bought several, some of which I have travelled with abroad which I then give away. None have broken down so far. It fits nicely in my hand, is just the right weight and response is just right. Donโt let the low price put you off.

Usually I buy Logitech mice but wanted a “Hot Pink” mouse to match the sleeve I bought for my new laptop – I was finding my last Logitech mouse was struggling to open links I finally installed a new battery but had ordered the hot pink mouse by then. The new batteries did the trick on the old mouse but I just love the colour and feel of the hot pink one.
The Microsoft mouse is just right for my largish female hand. It has a lift off back cover hiding the AA battery and a slot for storing the little plug or noddle as I call it. You get an Duracell battery in the packaging with the mouse but I always wonder about shelf life of these batteries but it seems ok. The “noddle” arrives in the transparent packing not hidden inside the mouse. There is also a “tiny” round button inset in the base of the mouse which proved to be an ON / OFF switch. Also a light which if your battery has any power in it will tell you if the mouse is switched on. Great that it is inset so nothing in my bag can…
