I bought this to replace the Arc Touch Mouse, which I found to be aesthetically great but lacking in functionality. This Surface Mouse fits the bill much better. It’s surprisingly big, a full-size mouse, and the plastic construction has a pleasant grain to it. It’s also quite heavy, which I enjoy. The click is rich and satisfying, and the tracking and bluetooth functionality seems to be working very well so far. The scroll wheel is a little firmer than I’m used to, but after just a little time adjusting I’m really enjoying it.

The colour and general design identity is very close to that of grey Surface line products, and the grain on the plastic is identical. So visually I’m very much enjoying it as a matched pair with my grey Surface Laptop.

Several reviewers here have commented that the functionality isn’t reliable or breaks down – so far so good for me but will report back if I start experiencing issues!

I was so sick and tired of my mouse giving up the ghost midway between doing something important (and something not important) on my Surface laptop. I did initially think that I was perhaps being a tad extravagant paying so much for a mouse, however this lovely piece of kit hasn’t let me down once. I connected it via Bluetooth and haven’t had to think about it again. It’s lovely to hold, looks good (I got the blue one) and hasn’t caused me a single second of trouble. Worth paying a bit extra

I’ve bought three of these. Two for myself and one as a gift. They’re very low-profile so great for travelling, which is what I mainly got it for. The battery life is amazing. My old Bluetooth mouse needed a battery change every 2 weeks. These go for months.

The only negative I would say is if the work you do means your hand spends more time on the mouse than your keyboard then you may not find it comfortable, depending on how you grip your mouse. If you’re used to a gaming mouse or a mouse that fills your hand then this will feel empty in comparison and the claw-like grip you need to adopt to use isn’t great for extended periods. The edges are very low so if your fingers generally grip the sides then they’ll be touching the table or mouse mat. It’s too small to use with your palm touching the back so you’ll be in a claw-like grip all the time.

But I spend most of my time typing, the mouse is just there for clicking menus and scrolling and occasional things like that. It slips in the…

Brilliant mouse, very nice build quality,
However I it personally hurt my hand after only 10 minutes use, I only have smallish hands for a man, I donโ€™t think in my opinion the shape of this mouse was very ergonomic I am used to only using Logitech mouses and only the normal size ones, this mouse is by design a tiny tiny mouse.

Would I buy again ? Probably it was only ยฃ15, it made an excellent gift to my colleague who liked using it, saved me having to return the mouse, I am too lazy to return things usually.

If i am honest, I knew this mouse would be small and flat, but until you put it in your hand you will not know if it is ergonomic, personally it gave my hand a cramp like feeling such as when I use power tools for too long, I am sticking with full size mouses from here on out.

As Derek Zoolander once said, โ€œIt needs to be at least 3 times bigger than thisโ€ exaggeration but it is a bit small.

The mouse sits easy in the had and for everyday use is fine.
The resolution is not as good as my wired mouse when doing fine work but is adequate for most other work.
Have been using the mouse for at least a few hours every day for about 2 months and the battery is still on 90% (and I quite often forget to turn it off).
Have had no real connection issues, it’s sometimes a bit slow to connect when I first turn on my laptop but it seems fine after that. I don’t have any problems with it keep losing connectivity (being used with a Dell XPS).
Needed to get a new mouse as the Dell does not have any USB ports so needed a Bluetooth mouse.
I would recommend this mouse to others and if I need another would buy again (it lost a star on the overall rating due to resolution).

I like this mouse more than I thought. It is slim and slips easily into a pocket in my laptop case, it is very precise onscreen. At the price I paid I also thought it was excellent value – Bluetooth mice are weirdly expensive and cheaper mice generally need a tiny nano key which burrows into a USB port and blocks it. This was the price of a nano key mouse but proper BT. And as I have a suface device, I can also monitor battery life in software using the surface app. This has really exceeded my expectations.

Looks nice and goes with the surface well but it’s horrible to rest your hand on. It’s so flat and the buttons don’t have a very satisfying click. For 30 there are lots of better options.

Bought this to go with my Surface Go, a very nice neat mouse, and needed for use of the laptop. The only thing about this mouse is, there is an on off button (that I can sรจe) so.when it’s in my bag it is always on and I presume would drain the batteries very quickly! I end up taking the batteries out when not using it but a simple on off switch would make.it so much better.
