Payed and sent an email a minute later with the code! Redeemed on Minecraft.Net and got the game! Took 3 minutes to finish installing. Having amazing fun with mods, shaders and playing mini games and worlds with my friends. Would definitely recommend!

Minecraft is positively one of the best games I’ve ever played, and I’ve enjoyed it from my childhood all the way through to adulthood. The possibilities are endless, and even if you’ve played the vanilla game to completion there’s a huge community behind it that have created countless fantastic mods and multiplayer servers which extend your game time more or less forever.
I would recommend buying the official game codes like this one instead of the cheap accounts you see on Ebay as those ones are actually accounts that have been stolen from other people and resold (which explains their confusingly low price)

I’ve played the windows10 version, ps3/4/xbox one versions; they’re all not really up to par with the old version and purely it’s down to the vast experiences you can have for hours even days and possibly weeks at a time. There are dedicated groups of people out there who spend there days making different textures, mods and even a collaboration of mods others have made in what is known as modpacks. To give you as the player a new experience in the same old game. Which is probably the reason why the java version of this simple little block game is yes the oldest version, but the most versatile and engaging for the player base at large. I myself have played this for a little over 7 years and with friends and sometimes on my own I’ve looked at my vast steam library and thought: “Actually let’s go back to a little vanilla Minecraft” Thank you.

Well this is a review for the code rather than the game it should have given access to. On that basis it is zero stars. I took a risk by ignoring the high level of negative reviews and I was wrong to have done so. The code was rejected on entering the first character. Now I believe this is to do with Mojang/Microsoft who provide the codes to Amazon but there may be issues with the description here such as which version of Minecraft this code is for and where it needs to be redeemed. Refunded by Amazon without quibble as always but a pain overall. Avoid.

Not quite as easy as they make it out as I purchase this a few weeks ago and still have not managed to download it yet because of the amount of times I need to go to different sites to get the code to put in here to put there downloaded but still not even played it, it really is not the best way to do it and I’ve had no help whatsoever

If you are buying this for a kid under 13 buy it direct from the minecraft people or you will get into the look I got into.
I created an account for my daughter and tried to install it. At this point it demanded that I create an account for me and pay 10p to check that I was an adult. Ok, I guess. But then it absolutely would not let me pay the 10p to conform the account without buying another copy of minecraft. I obviously strayed in some minor way in the install and it went down a path it can’t get out of. The minecraft support people took 4 days to get back to me and had obviously not even read my email. They asked for information I had already sent them in the original message.
I now cannot log into the accounts on the machine I want to install to (a iMac) as every time I try to log in it skips the login pace. I’ve cleared the cache and nothing.
This was something I thought would take 2 mins. More fool me. I’ve spent hours on this and guess what..
There is no apparent refund path….
