Not a bad device for the price range considered although there are a few niggles I will address camera is ok can get some ok shots in good light conditions but that’s were it ends bad light bad picture night mode not very good considering its plastered all over the box for a 64mp I’ve hade better results from 12mp as for the other lenses there just there to make up the numbers and are pretty useless if click on the zoom button pics are grainy , macro is what’s to be expected from any dessicated macro useless better of with main lense and cropping, performance wise it’s been pretty fluid not to many stutters only odd one or two when swiping right to Google feed , this is listed as the 6GB model when in fact you will receive the lesser 4GB model (listing error ?) I contacted support and was told they would send a replacement so when it arrived 2 days later I wasnt surprised it was again only the 4GB version , Bit of a let down, so do be aware when ordering , battery seems ok only…

My 1st smartphone was a Motorola (something) and I loved it, till my brother got me a free Sony Xperia XA on contract… and I hated it, from a charge once a week, reduced to 12/24 hours charge was mortifying…
Sooo… when I knew Motorola was making phones again, I couldn’t resist. I did lot of research (as I’m a cheep skate, and didnt wana spend lots on something that’s so easily broken) and after umming an aring over last yearโs model and this… I chose this.
Camera = is great (to what I was used to) it takes beautiful pics of my cat in almost any light, so I’m happy.
Screen = Sure the screen can really only be seen looking straight at it… but why would I want to see it from any other angle?, free protection from snooping eyes on the bus!
Screen is also flat! (I hate bevelled screen! protectors dont fit!)
Volume = One thing never mentioned in reviews… This thing is LOUD! \o/… its 40% volume was the same as the full on my Sony XA! I can now HEAR when someone is calling me!…

After a great budget phone, look no further.
Very much a fan having had the Moto G3, G5, G7 play and now the G30. Each being excellent hence returning to the brand. Stock android is bliss with no fussy overlay. The G30 is a huge leap forward over the G7 play, android 11, camera, speaker, screen 90hz and battery life being the standout features so far.
This being my first 6.5′ screen phone will take some getting use to and you definitely know it’s in your pocket.
Comes with a 20w turbo charger and the clear gel case which was a nice touch also.
