I had done a bit of research before getting this phone and at first I was a bit hesitant but after using it for the last month I must say that I made a good decision. When I fired it up (after the usual security updates and whatnot) it was running Android 11 without all the bloatware that comes on other phones.

The phone itself is really good. Very snappy and can handle all the games I have thrown at it so far without any challenge. It even handles xbox game pass like a dream. All the usual activities like youtube, social media, web browsing, netflix, etc are no challenge at all with this phone.

I have also tested out the desktop mode (which was a big reason for getting the phone) and just love it. I have been able to hook it up to a screen (using the dock and connector that comes with it) and actually be productive (with a bluetooth mouse and keyboard). The other features (like screen mirroring and TV mode) are good as well but I have not used as much as the desktop.

    Battery life is…

For £450 with amazing battery life and flagship performance is an absolute bargain. Has the phone for a couple of months now and I can say I am very very please with it. Received security updates each month so far which is good. The camera is absolutely brilliant and the ready for dock is great, enables firestick, games console and pc like experience. I can’t find anything I don’t like about this phone, I am very pleased with it. I can honestly recommend this phone. Is is big but is great for watching and the size isn’t an issues for me. Over all great performance, great battery, great camera and great build quality and price I’m and one happy camper.

I personally like the rear mounted finger print sensors on phones and was a bit concerned about the edge mount sensor on this one. I have found it to be ok, but not as good as previous rear mount sensors which always work on previous phones.
I would say everything else I have to say is positive generally. The phone is quick, I have never had to wait for an app. I usually choose to close apps rather than being forced due slow down.
The camera is pretty good, although the macro in my opinion should not be allowed to be referred to as such. I love macro photography but this can not get any closer than my previous phone which did not claim to have a macro lens.
Love the fact you still get a headphone jack.
Love the included clear protective skin.
Love the karate chop to turn the light on, really handy, you don’t even have to unlock the phone for this feature. It may sound insignificant, but I could not imagine not having it now.
Most of the other features are pretty standard for android. It…

All the advertising hype is in fact true! This is a wonderful smartphone which is immensely capable, especially with the “Ready For” software – better signal grab than my previous phone – it was number 11 and a Pro – where I previously had zero signal in the house having to rely on wifi calling, this gives me 3G+ in the house with wifi calling turned off – that to me shows a powerful radio receiver/transmitter.
I could say so much more about this phone and I am sorry that I left the Motorola user circle, having had a couple of previous G series. I shall remain a loyal Motorola fan from here on

This comes with the dock and hdmi output for the phone, it was interesting to see my phone on the big screen. The dock is handy as just a charging stand but as its a magnetic connection from the holder to the stand, it can be a bit iffy to easily place the phone on it. The holder also has arms that close to fit so even if you have a case on the device it still works.

The phone itself is great. The battery lasts all day, also has an optimal charging feature to prevent battery degradation (with latest update of Android).

The screen is bright and easy to see even in daylight. Also great for watching movies.

One issue I have is that the headphone jack is on the bottom of the phone next to the charging port and not the top like some older models.
