Great phone. Battery can last for 4 days. Fingerprint reader works well and in sensible position on rear. Screen very clear. Typing text easy. Only one thing annoys and that is Google assistant button can get knocked as you pick up the phone.

Only had this phone for one day but so far I like it a lot. Responds quickly when interacting with the device

Was really really impressed with how easy it was to set up this phone, not only did it automatically download all my old apps to it from my last device but it logged me into them all and I did notice that the ones that weren’t logged in it had saved my passwords and usernames from the last device so I didn’t have to rack my brain having to remember what they all were. And the battery is amazing I got two busses and a train other day a two hour journey with my music on full blast and it only used 8% everything works perfectly the cameras clear as day and in honesty considering the price I payed for it in comparison to other well know brands I couldn’t believe how much you got for your money from now on I will only ever buy Motorola’s my last phone was a Motorola’s too and I love them!

I’ve had various Moto G phones. This one’s very good and I got it at a bargain price on Amazon. ยฃ33 off! I have the green model and it looks beautiful.
The camera is okay. A step up from the G7 Power. It seems to take decent snaps in most lights. The macro lens is a waste of time, unless you’re an insect enthusiast or something.
I like the screen. It’s quite easy on the eye and it’s perfect for watching movies. The touch functions are very smooth and typing on it’s a joy.
Having 5G onboard was an attraction as I regularly tether my laptop to my phone. I got 95 mb/second the other day, but the speed does tail off very quickly as you move into the back garden. Still 30 mb/sec in the summerhouse, so good enough.
5G does hammer battery life, which is another good reason to choose this phone, with Its huge battery. I turn 5G off until I need it and I’ll get a couple of days between charges.
The fingerprint reader works really well and Android 11 is a good step forward, with all kind of…

No surprises here. If you’re a Moto G fan you’ll not find anything to surprise you with this phone. It’s a good step up design-wise from my G8 Plus which felt slightly old fashioned even when I got it the week it was released.
G50 isn’t mega fast or mega high-def or indeed mega anything. But it’s fairly priced and has 5G and Android 11 so … happy me.
Camera is adequate, onboard speaker is (just about) adequate, everything else is just fine. Good screen size. Decent battery life. I give this 4.5 stars.

I don`t do all this techy stuff, just wanted a pretty basic phone with a decent camera. This goes way beyond pretty basic. Slick and quick performance, awesome camera and a battery that defies you to drain it. Superb.

Had a number of motorola smartphones over the years, mostly due to their value for money and mostly untampered Android experience. My usage is simple and mostly comes down to messaging, reading the paper, listening to music via bluetooth, strava, a few snaps maybe, and upgraded really came down to connector on my last one becoming increasingly dodgy, and the battery, after 3 years, really not being what it used to.
This phone was bigger than I’d like, but still ‘just’ fits in phone pocket on my cycling jeans. For me, it’s still a bit of a monster though. However, the battery life is pretty impressive at the moment. For my usual usage, 2 days between charges is not a problem, so the slightly longer charging with the tiny provided charger isn’t really a problem. It does however recognise the turbo charger provided with my last motorola, but I didn’t check to see if it charges much faster with that, just noticed that it noticed.
The lack of RAM on this phone is noticeable if you…

I upgraded from an old Motorola G5 .Superb entry level smart phone, most notable item is the vastly improved battery life, it arrived on time, good packaging, restored the back up from old phone, bar a few sckins and twiddles to my shortcuts, I was up an running exactly as per my old phone, but on this faster better version..only grumble is I am missing the back button/touch option, there are ways round it and despite this, overall I am happy with my choice.
