Ok i bought this to solve two problems for me . 1st was my phone kept filling up with videos and took so long to transfer them online and 2 (i found this out after i bought it .) But this can speed up old laptops if you run the os off the slim ssd it can make a old laptop brand new literally speeding up every process . I didnt think it was possible but aftersearchimg on fiver i found someone to transfer all the data and then it speeds up the laptop alot . Very happy

My load times for fallout 76 takes about 10s from the moment I click to join a public world.
I’m using an Xbox 1 X with the original hdd this SSD makes games less glitchy too because of the ability of the SSD to send the information to the ram so quick.
Translates to less glitchy gameplay in general for most games.

Bought for an external drive for my Samsung Galaxt Tab S4,running Android v10.Plugged drive in (worked fine),and copied a movie to test its performance. Movie played fine.Then placed into my laptop.(still worked ok).When replaced into my tablet error usb not found.
Checked the Format which was ntfs.Reformated to exfat to no avail. Usb drive would only work on windows 10 laptop.Tried once more in tablet but it immediately ran terribly slow.Have returned to Amazon for refund.Pity because I was really looking forward to using a 1 tb ssd drive.

Firstly its a nice and compact form at a reasonable price. I bought it as a time machine backup for my new 24″ iMac. It would intermittently not appear on my iMac on startup so have to manually reconnect. If it wasn’t for this issue it would of been a superb product but it just wasn’t up to the job. Plus it doesn’t come with an outright USB-C cable but an adapter which is disappointing considering the price.

I bought this to store home movies and photographs on and wanted something more substantial than a pen drive which I have a habit of losing on a regular basis. This external SSD is ideal, it’s not to large and is solidly built with a metal casing and the convenience of a usb c connection. Transfer rates are much faster than using an ordinary external hard drive and it should last longer as there are no internal moving parts, highly recommended for the price
