I had deliberated for some time as to whether or not it was helpful to get a mouse mat for my desk – the desk surfaces are able to operate a mouse with reasonable effectiveness, and space was a consideration. Previous mouse mats that I had used were not that more effective than the desk surface. In the event, I went ahead and bought the black, anti-slip comfort mouse mat (with the gel foam rest), from New Horrizon. I was glad that I did.
A permanent space on the computer desk was found for the mouse mat. It is comfortable, most effective to use, and has a genuine (gel foam) wrist rest. It is attractive to look at, and I have little doubt that it will last for a considerable length of time as a valuable commodity.
The service from New Horrizon was most satisfactory. The dispatch and delivery was fast, the item was as stated in the publicity (not to always be taken for granted), and the gently adhesive base to the mouse mat was a happy surprise. At the price on offer, the purchase…
IsItMe? –
I wondered why my mouse wasn’t tracking properly. The surface of the mouse itself isn’t actually flat.
It’s also curly at the edges, not large enough and the gel pad is really rather firm.
Not recommended.
UPDATE: so not flat mouse has stopped tracking properly and after only two months this item will hit the bin.

I bought this mat to replace a similar spec mouse mat with a gel wrist support because it had torn and the gel was leaking.
This mat feels very hard compared with my old one and is about half the height – it is maybe 1cm high – and so no real use as a support. The wrist rest is also covered by a material which is not comfortable to rest your wrist on for any length of time.
It may be that it is ok for occasional use then typing, but anyone using this for games or extended use should avoid it.

This is made from a decent fabric and It’s easy to clean underneath where the rubbery surface provides good adhesion to the desk. Once the heel of the hand is on the ‘pad’ it’s not possible for the mouse to move off the mat unless you have 7″ long fingers (i.e. not human) so I don’t understand people who say the mat is too small – simply it isn’t unless you lift your hand off the pad which defeats the object of the ‘comfort’ element somewhat. I use my laptop screen as a primary with an ‘extended’ desktop 24″ monitor on a stand above it and I have no problems moving the pointer from top to bottom and side to side without moving my mouse off the mat (it’s a standard sized mouse as well, not a mini).
The only thing I do find is that keeping my hand ‘heel’ on the pad is not always the easiest of things to do unless you are constantly conscious of your hand movement. I find that my hand tends to move gravitate forward and my wrist sits on the pad until I notice it’s cutting off the blood…

It’s a good enough mousemat but it is a bit smaller than I expected.
The edges curl up because it has zero weight to it. There is an adhesive backing that is meant to be a substitute but using it would damage any work surfaces, so it is not at all useful.
Still comfortable and functional enough for the price, serves its purpose for temporary use. I won’t be buying it again though.

Bought because at the time I was using a metal desk and optical mice had a hard time picking up smooth movement on such a reflective surface. It worked better than I expected for something so cheap.
Pros:
Sticks to surfaces really well so it’s not going to move around while you use it.
The balloony bits to save your wrist are the perfect size in my experience.
There’s no signs of fading after a month of daily usage for 8+ hours.
Cons:
The adhesive that lets it stick to the desk makes a horrible sound when you try to remove it from the desk.
The adhesive doesn’t stick very well once removed from one desk and left for around an hour before attempting to be restuck to a new desk(so either reattach immediately or get a new one for best results).
The product arrives in a flimsy amazon bag that will have people asking what’s in it because it feels “squishy and weird” if someone else collects your mail and it ships separately.

Really impressed!
I previously had a similar wrist support mouse pad, but the cushion on my old one was made of typical memory foam. This flattened within weeks and was never supportive to begin with! Really impressed that this one was, as advertised, a comfortable firm gel cushion for less money than my original.
So far I’ve found gaming more comfortable and the non-slip base is like superglue – it doesn’t shift at all from regular use or even pushing it, only if you pick it up.
My order was delivered next day, which was an unexpected bonus.
For the price, this is a fab mouse pad and I’m happy I chose this over similar products on Amazon.

Packaging was all over the place and wasn’t doing much protection. Poor packaging.
Item itself feels cheap.
I would shell out a little more and buy something better. But will it do the job.. Aye it will.
