I bought this coat after reading many of the US reviews. Every winter I search for an Uber warm down coat, and they never quite hit the warmth mark. I was almost considering spending hundreds to finally get the warmth I need.
This does it, and itโs stylish, hurrah! The hood is amazing, either down as an Uber collar, or worn as a waterproof, and funky hood. The double down all over, with pockets makes it warmer than my top rated current coat….bought for around ยฃ250. Iโm wary about the zips because of other reviews, and seams, but itโs not tight fitting. At the moment, super pleased!
*Edit and update after two months of wearing every day, and some windy and wet weather – SUPERB! ultra warm, ultra comfy, and looks fab. even got stuck in a mega downpour, and survived….dried out in super quick time. buy it!

Iโve just returned from Romania where the temperature drop as low as -13 and was never cold! The style is comfortable to wear and seems to be reasonably waterproof..I didnโt get wet! My only problem was the hood could do with some way of fastening, there are press stud fastenings that are only decorative really and could have been adapted to fasten. Overall Iโm very please with this coat.

I love this coat, I wasnโt actually expecting to like it. I have worn a famous brand winter coat for years and have recently returned a premium coat for its quality compared to price. I am over the moon with this purchase. I was looking for a warm down filled coat but wanted something a little different to a regular puffa coat. This coat is so well made, so cozy and has a brilliant hood. I would recommend this coat to anyone. I found the size chart on the US amazon site. I am 5โ7โ and bought a Medium. I can comfortably wear a jumper under.

I had read about the coat on various NYC websites. How it was the uniform for the Manhattan and Brooklyn school run. Comfortable and stylish, but cheap. And then my sister, a mom on the UWS, bought one. I trust her opinion, so when she told me she loved it, I bought one for myself. (But in a different color than her, obvi.)
I love mine. It’s like wearing a sleeping bag, it’s so cozy and so warm. It keeps me warm on English country walks or when I’m in London for meetings. The pockets! So many pockets for all my stuff. The hood is massive. When it’s up, I don’t get any rain in my face. When it’s down, it craddles my neck like a soft cushion.
My only complaints: 1) it is a little narrow on my hips, but the size zips mean that I can adjust it. 2) it’s more expensive in the UK. I know that this only costs $100-120 in the US, but I spent 145 quid. If I had been traveling to the US anytime soon, I would have bought it from US amazon and had it shipped to my sister.

I gave it 5 stars due to the high quality of the item and it came beautifully packaged. Unfortunately, I am returning as it is not for me but am writing this review so potential buyers can get some idea of the fit. I found the sizing for this coat confusing. I am 5ft 2in and a small size 10. I ordered the medium based on the reviews but it comes up big on me and a little longer in length than I would like. The small probably would have been a better fit and with room to wear a chunky knit jumper underneath. It’s also a weighty item which I find uncomfortable. To help buyers with the sizing I have taken photos of the measurements for the medium.

This jacket arrived SO quickly, I couldnโt believe it. I ordered it on Friday 3 Jan and was told the delivery date would be 3 Feb. Imagine my surprise when it arrived today!
After reading the comments on Amazon about the sizing being too small, I ordered a size 3X. It isnโt too small at all. The sizing seems true to size but I had ordered two sizes larger to be on the safe side.
The jacket in navy is absolutely GORGEOUS. The shiny orange lining and white โteddy bearโ-like hood lining is FABULOUS.
The jacket I received was well-made and I just fell in love with it even more. I didnโt even want to take it off!
Sadly, I have to return it but I am hoping to have it replaced with an XL for a smarter look. As it is so cosy, I wonโt want to wear thick jumpers underneath (or Iโll swelter) so a jacket closer in fit would be ideal.
I will provide a further update once the Seller gets back to me and I receive my ideal size.

There are thousands of reviews for this coat and so many contradict each other in terms of sizing! So…hereโs my experience! I am 5โ8โ and very definitely pear shaped…size 10-12 on top, slim waist, size 12-14 on the bottom half. I ordered the Small first and it fitted perfectly on the top half (including room for layers) but wouldnโt fit around my thighs unless I opened the zips. I reordered the Medium…this is perfect around my thighs, but quite big on top…particularly since itโs an oversized design. In summary, if youโre hips and shoulders are the same width, size down. If youโre pear-shaped, order normal size. Iโm going to keep it because itโs crazy cosy and beautifully made!

I got the black and it is very attractive with a furry hood and an orange lining. It is extremely warm. I love all the pockets and . the way it can be adjusted to make it roomier. I think it is very generously sized. I am around a size 18 and I ordered a 2XL and it is very roomy – I think I could probably have got away with an XL, especially as the sides unzip to create a bit more room. I wanted something warm and comfy and I am very happy with it.
