First impressions were fair value for money, a sturdy phone with good battery life, that’s why I bought it along with the dual SIM facility as yet unused. The forgivable penalty for good battery life being it’s weight. However… now with some use I am getting more annoyed with it, why?…
In your pocket and on standby the phone will randomly do the following:
* If e.g. the Youtube app was open it might start a video that was on your list.
* With normal movement try and dial a number.
* Go on silent so you might miss a call or text coming in
* Today I took it out of my pocket and the torchlight was on, it went into my pocket off for sure.
The camera is not very good in low light and fails to focus, it’s OK in brilliant sunshine. Perhaps I’m incompetent but messages seem to disappear.
Sound quality and volume isn’t good.
The charger get’s worryingly hot.
Settings change on their own, that’s very annoying.
Knowing what I know now I’m not at all sure that I’d buy it.

I’ve bought the WP5 for my father. He works as a plumber mainly but he is a master builder, so he works in a lot of different environments …. until now I am really happy with the phone, it has a huge battery life!! It’s not as big as I was expecting, it still fits comfortable in hand…more or less same size like an S8+ phone… video calls work great…. It’s not a downside, it’s just a fact! The camera needs 4-5 seconds to focus when you open the app, after that all is great!
Overall a great product! I would definitely recommend!

This phone is huge! My husband previously had a rugged phone by a different brand so thought this would be a similar replacement and it’s so heavy and big to the point he’s almost dropping it more because it’s clumsy feeling. Everything software and toughness wise is great though. Although don’t really feel the battery life is that super and also it doesn’t come with a screen protector and finding one for it has been a pain! Also there’s no headphone jack which wasn’t very clear on the page. Meaning you ethier need to get c cable headphones, meaning you can’t charge it while listening to music, or you need Bluetooth headphones

Bought this for my partner, he keeps breaking phones, works with machinary in waste industry, main use phone, youtube, music and news. He was also fed up of charginging mobile. He spotted this checked reviews on here and youtube, thought best replacement for dropping at great hights 😁, bigger battery and being waterproof handy on dog walks or fishing. Easy quick set up. He has never been for gadgets, but he is driving me mad, showing me what it can do, testing how robust it is, the attached video was on first dog walk checking out the river little fish, first out of water and then into the water, have to agree impressed at the quality of picture for the price and filming under water, he normally would not be taking pictures or video’s.
Very happy with the battery life, watches a lot of youtube on it in the evening, charges it every couple days, but says a lot of the time still over 30% battery left.

This is! A brilliant phone, battery life is immense and it’s status feature is very useful.. Photo quality is good, and it is a nice gadget to hold, its got a good weight factor to it and feels as sturdy and rugged as it looks… But it isn’t ~ drop proof. A couple of weeks after receiving it, it fell out of a ripped pocket face down onto a stone/concrete floor and the glass screen is now broken/smashed. I’m very tempted to purchase another one but this time with a screen protector and a case, the only downside being, that adding a case to this phone would turn it into a brick, as its already quite large and bulky.

So, for the money, this has been a fairly useable product. The battery life is certainly good for a couple of days but it doesn’t last as long as you’d expect for such a huge battery capacity. Furthermore, the battery life seems to already be diminishing and I’ve only had the phone for a few weeks.
I decided that I wouldn’t install very many apps on this phone and, therefore, have opted not to fit an SD card. It’s managing ok with storage and it’s not as slow as I thought it would be. It does get quite hot sometimes during 5-10 minutes or more of internet browsing, social media etc.
The camera is another interesting point. In good light, you can actually get some quite good pictures of things that are not moving. The focus is very slow and the pictures are, unsurprisingly, quite grainy. When using the camera for third-party apps, such as track and trace, the focus seems to be even slower.
One thing that amused me was the inclusion of an FM radio that only works when headphones are…

Amazing Battery runs Amazon Flex app and accountancy/mileage app simultaneously all day no in cab charging necessary.
Water proof and shock/drop proof (I’ve dropped it several times already!) good up to date android version good processor and memory.
Camera adequate but obviously not as good as your £1000 phones!
Great LED torch for dark work.
A bit Heavy but I’ve got an arm holster and it’s building up my left bicep!
All in all a great value phone which is also tax deductible if you are using it for deliveries/work.
