After a short while, a vertical lines of permanent pixels appeared. I sent it back to the supplier. At time of writing that was 32 working days ago that they received it. They tested the monitor and agreed that it was faulty and sent it to the manufacturer, quoting 28 working days turn around. In the meantime, I am performing my working from home off a laptop screen.
At the time of writing, it has now been with the manufacturer 27 working days and I have since heard nothing.
This is ridiculous – I wonder how many monitors have been built by the manufacturer in this time from raw materials. If it is taking so long to fix, it would have cost them less to just give me a new one!!

I purchased this to replace a failing 6 year old HKC 2612A 26″ monitor.
The first thing I noticed was how I could see each pixel (rather annoying) and then how dull the whites looked, when viewed from the side the whites looked a lot better so not sure if this is a result of it being an ips screen. overall I’ve given this 3* but so wish I had spent the extra £10 on a BenQ GW2780 for £145 compared to this at £135
[Edit] after 1 day of use I packaged this back into it’s box and sent it back due to poor quality of picture and scrolling tickers (like you see on the bottom of news programs) would distort, I could not live with a monitor that does that.

I got this to stick an Apple TV on the back, thus making a small Smart TV that was way more smart than an actual smart one at anything approaching the price. In built speakers are fine for feedback, but shocking (as expected) for actual listening. But I had always planned to use a bluetooth soundboard from the Apple TV anyway. It turns off when the Apple TV turns off through the Apple remote, and sound is handled the same. At £94 it’s incredible value if you don’t need good sound or a remote control

This was purchased to replace a faulty Samsung LED screen and it did not disappoint. The monitor was well packaged, nicely made and has a functional look. The display is easy to set up and is bright and vibrant. Blacks are not quite as crisp as on more expensive monitors but for daily use with office packages and YouTube viewing the screen has an adequate quality. It comes with a good range of accessories including an S-VGA cable (in 2019!). Keeping in mind the cost this is a very good option for those who don’t need gaming quality displays and who don’t want to spend extra for cosmetic features.

I bought this screen 5 months ago. Back then, there were a lot more reviews on here, over 200 reviews at least, as I never buy anything that hasn’t got more than 200 reviews.

When the screen arrived, the image wasn’t amazing, but since it only cost £150 I didn’t mind.
5 months passed and the screen now has this dragging like effect that is most noticeable on text (as you can see in the image).

I work in design and such issues with the screen are a big annoyance as it is a work that requires a lot of attention to detail.

Really not happy about it and have contacted the seller to either get a replacement or a full refund.

Will update this review according to the actions taken by the seller.
We all want sellers that take responsibility for their products and look after their customers.

UPDATE: I realised that since the screen is what’s broken, this printscreen would not reveal the problem to others looking at it.
I have now returned the item and was given a full refund. Stay away from this…

I don’t know who writes these positive reviews.
This monitor is 50hz not 60hz. Confirmed by comparing it with my laptop and external old monitor. This one forces 50hz while gaming and you can see screen jumping “frame by frame”).
Plastic feels cheap, something you would expect to find on “bazaar” or dodgy marketplace, not produced by well known brand like Phillips. Even the box looks generic and low quality.
Arrived with defects in screen visible on dark backgrounds.
I’m not sure if Phillips hit the rock bottom or is it simply counterfeit.
Probably deserves more than 1 star (for example the screen quality and colours are alright) but I want to counter other fake reviews misleading other customers.

I bought this monitor, through Amazon, from CCL Computers.
It stopped working after a few weeks. When I contacted CCL Computers to report the fault they reluctantly asked me to send it back to them. I was expecting a replacement or a refund. I got neither.
CCL Computers told me they would return the monitor to the manufacturer for inspection, adding the that process would take 28 days.
I am still waiting to hear from CCL Computers. I have no monitor and am unable to use my computer.
I don’t think they are any hurry to supply me with a working monitor, they have my money and are laughing.
I will NEVER buy anything from CCL Computers again.

I’m talking after few months after I bought this screen. (I paid it 160) I found what I was looking for. I’m a graphic designer so I noticed every little thing and I have to say that for the price and the size of the screen I think it’s worth it. Nothing to complain about, colours are great and it’s bright enough. Also I like gaming and for a PS4 this screen it’s perfect as well.
