Mr. N. Humphrey –
I have printed 6 pictures with this so far, and 4 of them have printed out of alignment, making the photos very blurry and completely unusable. The printer prints in 4 stages: yellow, magenta, cyan, protect. Each time it does this, it pushes the print out and takes it back in again to do the next layer. This creates opportunity for the prints to shift out of alignment. So out of the 6 photos I’ve printed, 4 failed, giving a success rate of just 44%!
I raised this with Polaroid directly, who sent the following response: “Unfortunately this is possible, there is around 1 millimetre play inside the cartridge and, for that reason, frames or pictures can be a bit off center.”
In other words, there’s every possibility that an entire 10-photo cartridge could have this issue and therefore end up in the trash. Also, “a bit off center”, even just by 1mm, makes a massive difference when the photo is as small as it is – it’s impossible not to notice.
I’d normally give a product like this 1-star,…

So I bought this HiPrint because reviews said it was one of the best small printers. On the first print, the device had a paper jam after the yellow ink stage. After that point the device stopped working, initially alerting me to a paper jam, and then consecutively saying printer out of paper. I tried two different ink cartridges and both had the same message. Also reset the device and no change.
Seems to be a fault for a lot of devices I see on here, and appears to happen at the same time. Wouldnโt buy it, not worth it after paying so much and it not working.

Didnโt realise it came with nothing. Literally nothing no cartridge no paper itโs literally an empty box. Should have bought elsewhere but pointless for the price

Iโm really pleased with this little printer. Perfect for my purposes. I like to include little pictures in various scrapbooks I make and Iโm very impressed with the print quality, considering. A bit pricey (~75p/pic) but for the amount of pics I print itโs not a problem. The battery doesnโt last long, but it works while charging so thatโs alright. Again, Iโm not printing on the go so it doesnโt need to be all that portable. Great printer for printing little momentos for scrapbooks etc.

firstly, it doesnt come with ink/paper, despite the comments saying it does – it 100% doesnt. which when buying as a gift is a little embarassing.
then……..
straight out of the box the thing didnt work!
it got half way through the first colour cycle then jammed with the print half in and half out, breaking a brand new printer cartridge because the ink roll was stuck between two colours, yellow and red.
i reset the machine, cleared the paper jam and installed a new paper & ink cartridge but now it wont recogognise any paper or ink despite resetting/reinstalling numerous times.
now im two ink cartridges down, which are not cheap, and left with a broken device and a very unhappy birthday girl.
seriously unimpressed

Absolutely shocking that the paper isnโt included with the product.

I take this printer with me everywhere I go, it’s small enough to slip into my jacket pocket and the prints are superb. Watching it print a photo in 4 stages – first the yellow, then magenta, cyan and a final protective layer is a great talking point.

Not worth the money at all! My daughter asked for this for her birthday. Doesnt come with any cartridges or paper and the cartridges are ยฃ15/ยฃ16 which prints 20 photos
