This is a lovely coat. I’ve been looking round for a longer length one for the winter school run. I ordered the XL – i’m a size 18, but this was too small round my hips. I could have squeezed the zip shut, but want the option of wearing a jumper under it. I’m 5.3 and the coat actually comes below my calf, so more like a Maxi coat than most. i’m returning it and have already ordered the next size up. Love the coat, it feels very warm, and I actually like the contrasting colours on the hood, breaks the colour up a bit. Nice colour of navy, not too dark, and I like the zip feature. It has poppers over the zip, which is great if you just want to pop the coat shut while you are rushing into somewhere., a feature missing on some coats. It does feel slimming, not like some bubble coats which look like you are wearing a sleeping bag. (my 8yr old grandsons comments about one I tried on in a store.) I ordered an XXXL size which is great… even longer than the XL, so i’m really pleased with…

It is surprisingly beautiful coat too! I have ordered one size bigger(wear M, ordered L) so that I can wear a jumper underneath, so it is a bit large but still looking slim 🙂
I love this coat. Perfect to all details. Beautiful! Even the colour is great: dark blue.
One tiny minus: I am not a fan of the fur attached to the hood. It is acceptable but I wish the colour would be also dark blue; it is somewhere between black and white, dark greyish. It is exactly as the image of the coat in the description above shows. So, I knew what I will receive but it is very difficult to find a long coat like this wonderful example which is not too expensive either.
Very satisfied and would recommend to a friend.

I read the reviews and thought yes a lovely really good length jacket but when I received I had to double check the reviews, because yes, the length is lovely and I am a size so bought a S which fits perfectly, it really is a lovely jacket, but when I read the reviews that says it’s really padded and warm.. I thought wait a minute, mine looks like all the padding has been removed! it certainly isn’t warm, not windproof and i can only imagine that I would be a wet rag if I got wet.. so have asked for another just in case this really is a faulty item and the padding is lying somewhere in China

I took a chance with this coat as my previous one was twice the price and had served me well. However, these days money matters even more than usual and I’m delighted to say that this coat is as good as my previous one and also gives me a better shape. It fits perfectly. I’m 5’9” tall and the length is fine. A great buy and very good value.

The coat looks nice and the hood stays in place when you use it. I got a size up so I could fit my winter layers underneath comfortably and the upper sleeve and shoulders are roomy enough still to not feel tight. The zip opens from both end, so if you need more room to stretch your legs, you can unzip the bottom to do so. I’m not sure if this is quite as warm as my Eddie Bauer which also has a removable inner lining, but I like that it is long (almost to my ankles) and that the wrists have cuffs to keep chilly wind from going up your arms. My only issue so far is that the inner chest pocket has a button closure which I don’t like, it should have a zipper for security.
