Unfortunately have unpacked this and I would not recommend purchasing this item. No trivet, separaters and no accessories to purchase. This is a very basic thing and after my unfortunately redundant Prestige Stainless one, bears no comparison. I did not expect much for ยฃ31 pounds, but thought I would be able to upgrade by buying accessories. I still have my old Prestige, which was for the tip, but am hoping I can use the trivet and separators so that I can cook in a proper manner. ยฃ30 pounds wasted in my view. Would definitely NOT recommend.

The product sent is NOT suitable induction hobs as it does NOT have a stainless steel base but the product description says it is induction hob compatible which its NOT. They sent us the wrong product and now need to make an effort to return it myself and wont get refunded untill the product is refunded which is really unprofessional and extremely inconvenient.

Pressure cookers are like Marmite, you either love or hate. This is a basic model and is the right size for a couple especially making winter soups and cooking quick veg. If you do not allow the valve to catch, this is a good basic model. If you get annoyed because the seal is not sitting right or something, then perhaps this sort of cooking is not for you. Overall, this is good for us, but maybe not for others.

It’s very difficult to cook using this. It’s different from regular Indian pressure cooker.

Look, it works, So that’s a positive, but aluminium is really something I’d forgotten was so susceptible to stains especially from high temperature acids and alkalis. I just boiled some lentils with a dash of of sodium bicarbonate and it turned black inside.
Then apple juice from a steamed apple suet pudding did it again…
If you can afford it, get stainless steel, but if you arer on a tight budget and prepared to use a secondary conatiner like a mixing bowl inside it to keep the aluminum and food apart, it works well enough,

Returned this item as for me it was not fit for purpose as it did not contain a vegetable basket. Also it was very lightweight.

Bought it on November, however the whistle never worked and I didnโt bother to complain and the there is metallic taste when I boil chickpeas or red kidney beans, I bought it just to make lentils but now regret. Better buy stainless steel cookers from a shop .
