Our ex-racer rescue greyhound has an incredibly sensitive tummy. Her poo would deteriorate during a walk from sloppy, to runny, to brown wee! Our vet advised Purina Pro Plan Large Adult Athletic dog food (https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00Y9STL18/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) with this Protexin Pro-Fibre product, in addition to
Protexin Synbiotic D-C (https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B003ZJ8AF0/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1). We aren’t rich by any means, so this list (and the prices the vet was charging) were terrifying! However, sticking them on Amazon’s Subscribe and Save makes it less of a scary proposition money wise, but, more importantly, our dog’s poo is now normal! You can just pick it up one handed (with a bag…) and the first couple of poos during a walk leave no residue behind. It is a fabulous combo of dietary products, and she doesn’t pump all night long now either!

My cat was constipated after stressing out due to air travel and moving to a new home. Took her to the vet, they gave her a laxative and billed 500 USD without solving the problem (the most expensive poop in history!), because she pood but was still constipated the days after the laxative.

I consulted another vet and told me to use parafin oil and lactulose, and it worked, but the faeces were dark and hard, meaning they still were lasting too much time in the colon, and she would only go once every three or more days. After a few days with the help of those medicines, which I didn’t want to use for more time, I decided to try this fiber and the effect was immediate: she pooped the very next day and has been doing so everyday, the stools are now of the correct color and texture.

If you’re having trouble feeding it to your cat, let the fiber in a bit of water for a few moments, until you can no longer see the shapes of the pellets and the fiber is all mushy, and then mix it with wet…

I have 2 senior cats (13yrs old in 2 months), and inevitably as they age they’re developing health issues.

Ziggy has Feline IBD (think Crohns Disease or Ulcerative Colitis in humans) which I’ve managed to keep under control with a high protein diet, I feed him tinned food from Thrive and no dry food whatsoever, but whenever he brings up a hairball this aggravates his system and he’ll be vomiting for several days after, he’s a pretty furry cat but he only needs a small amount of fur in his sytem to set him off so it’s far more frequently than his brother brings up hairballs.

Tiggy has issues with his anal glands, this started about 6 months ago, he’d be scooting his bottom on the floor and licking a lot more than usual, he didn’t seem distressed and it would only be a day at a time, I didn’t know what it was at first but thought I’d just keep an eye on it. It kept happening about once a month and I noticed his stool was harder than usual and smaller, and a little smellier. The last…

Our 4 year old kokoni-spitz had constant gland trouble. She would scoot along the ground daily, constantly licking her bottom and glands were smelly and needed cleaning every 2 months, which she found very painful 😕. We considered having her bum glands removed but wanted to try this first as it was recommended by our vet. And surgery was the very last resort. We see improvements within the first few days. She has been on it for 3 months now and still no sign of gland trouble, no smelly bottom, no licking and no scooting. We add water to soften it before mixing it in with her wet food and she eats it happily. We now have a very happy little dog. I can’t praise this product enough. I now have it on repeat order, wouldn’t be without it. Highly recommend. We used one scoop a day and the pot lasts 2 months ( 10kg dog).

My schnauzer started to have problems with one of his anal glands it would not empty. The vet suggested sachets to start with but they didn’t stop him keep licking around that area. We were then recommended Protexin Pro Fibre by one of my friends whose dog had had the same problem so we gave it a try.
The first couple of weeks we didn’t notice any difference except he was not licking the area on a regular basis – but then he stopped licking and he did not touched his rear end after about 2 weeks, his poo is now slightly harder and the problem seems to have gone.
We are going to try and give him the fibre every other day and see how he goes.
Well worth trying this product if your dog has problems with anal glands.
