Product was listed as US layout which I much prefer, received a UK layout board, so that was disappointing straight out of the box, dropping a star for that. Other than that it’s a great a board. It’s pretty loud though but for me that’s not a problem. Switches feel great, pbt keycaps and I like the software that comes bundled.
Using a detachable magnetic usb-c cable with this too which lets me swap between boards easily, so thanks for making that possible Razer.
Standard bottom layer, finally glad to see companies doing this on gaming keyboards.

Key caps feel very good, for gaming this is a great keyboard with the very quick actuation force.
However, I had to return this as the keyboard makes a high pitching whining noise when the led lights are on, when you are in a silent room on a night it honestly hurts your ears. Guess this is due to the cheap electronic parts they have used.
ALSO upon every key press, a high pitch metallic noise of the metal backplate pinging from the key is painful to hear after every key press. Honestly, I heard this before buying it but thought surely it canโt be that bad. It is.

Within a day, I can state that this is the best keyboard I have ever owned and I’ve a drawer full of them, different brands and all pretty expensive. Lovely action on the keys, stunning form factor, not at all bulky for a full size. I really can’t fault it. Also, having had many Razer products over the years I have no idea what people have against the software. I’ve had no problems at all with the software….ok the regular updates used to annoy me, but recently it’s become less frequent. Buy with confidence, o and great wrist rest too…..this might be my keeper to the point I may buy another as a spare…finally!

Great that this keyboard comes with PBT keycaps as standard. Only complaints are that this is noisier than Cherry MX Reds, and International ISO layout is still not UK ISO. Easy fix but purchasing the Razer PBT keycaps aftermarket but that adds to the cost and you lose printouts for secondary keys. Apart from that the RGB is great, and actuation/response being similar to MX Speed switches is perfect for gaming. Benefit for me over MX Speed switches is that I felt the Cherry MX were too mushy and focused only on gaming as a result. This however feels more like MX Reds hence better for general typing and usage. Detachable USB-C keyboard is also convenient for travelling. This plus my wrist rest fits perfectly with my keyboard travel case alongside my Razer Viper Ultimate ๐

This is by far one of the best keyboards hands down. Typing feels great, the cushioned rest is comfortable and overall just looks stunning. The typing does not have the same satisfying clicking feel and sound as the first model; however, it has a nice feel with it being softer and smoother. The sound in general is not clicky like most mechanical keyboards but more of a muted click. It is however much more sensitive than the first and other models, as it is pressure sensitive and has a lower activation weight requirement, which allows a joystick option in the razer synapse software option (limited games support)

LOVE having this keyboard, specially if I’m gaming at night and it lights up. There are different light settings and you can make your own. I have the wave affect, it’s so soothing and calming.
And those keys! OMG the noise is heaven for me. It’s been one of my favourite sounds for years. Dont judge!
Only frustrating thing is it’s set to US keyboard settings and been struggling to change the setting. And theres no ยฃ instead you get $. So that’s a pain.
Otherwise I love it!

OK, fistly, the action on this keyboard is phenomenal – the use of optical sensing instead of mechanical switches really shows. This keyboard is fast, comfortable and accurate. The keys are fairly loud because Razer have added click to the keys but that’s not necessarily a bad thing and it also adds to the feel of the keyboard.
I’ve only had this keyboard for a day and I don’t think I will ever go back to mechanical switches now.
So why ony 3 stars?
This is a US layout keyboard. There is also one less key than you would get on a “normal” typing keyboard (US or UK). I knew that when I bought it, but I figured that Razer’s “Synapse” driver software would let me remap keys. The keyboard is supposed to have onboard memory for “profiles” but it turns out that remaps only work while Synapse is running, and remaps are only for the KEY – not the KEY plus a modifier like ALT or CTRL. Similarly with the lighting – it has a default colour cycling and the only way to use the colour/effect of your…
