Excellent value for money weight gain protein shake. I use 1 full scoop in the morning and evening mixed with 300ml of milk and it mixes very well in a standard shaker cup. I do however find the taste a bit on the rich side. Its not too thick and goes down well.
My previous weight gain shake was the optimum nutrition serious mass. I do prefer that but it is more expensive, and considering the price difference this is extremely good value for money. I would definitely recommend giving this a try.

I was going to get Optimum Nutrition but I saw this for a cheaper price and the way it has been advertised and the name I just wanted to try this. And believe me this is something to pick up if you want a lot of protein. I chose the strawberry cream flavour and some reviews say it’s a bit sweet and I agree but the sweetness won’t take you away it’s a great add on. You don’t want to taste a tasteless shake right? Next time I’ll get the chocolate one as apparently it’s a better flavour. But Reflex Nutrition know what they are doing. I’m also buying the Whey Pro soon too! And the scoop is pretty huge. Enjoy it while you can.

Arrived today/ A 2kg tub. On opening the tub it seemed half empty so I weighed it and it came up as 2300g which is about right as the tub would weigh around 300g. The scoop that comes with the product is so big you can hardly get it out of the tub. It’s a joke really. The serving size recommends you top the scoop up twice to make 300g and mix with 700ml of water. This would equate to roughly 7 days supply for ยฃ18. That equates to ยฃ72 per month or ยฃ864 a year. It’s not so much the cost but the serving size is just way too much. I would suggest a quarter of the size portion and top the mixture up with a couple of eggs, 2 TBSP of peanut butter, honey, fine porridge oats, a banana and some stoned dates and you will have a calorie protein dense shake that will last you 4 times as long at a cost of only ยฃ18 per month rather than ยฃ72. You can easily do the above with any protein powder you buy online or at a shop. Always reduce the scoop size and add ingredients to substitute.

Just my two cents on this, been using it for a couple weeks now, I had been using optimum nutrition before this.
In my opinion this is a major upgrade. I find this so much easier to digest than ON, doesn’t leave me feeling bloated either. I can easily down a shake of this after a workout, something I definitely couldn’t do with ON. The value for money is also so much better, similar amount of servings, should last you around 3 weeks, and if you subscribe and save you’ll be saving a lot of money.
I’ve been using this combined with a full body resistance band home workout with progressive overload (due to covid) and seeing fantastic results, this contains 18 vitamins as well by the way. And I’ve been seeing fantastic results, so I’m saving money in the gym, and in my workout nutrition. Also on another small note, the taste (I’ve got vanilla ice cream) takes a little to get used to, but now it’s absolutely fine.

I have given it 5 stars even though I hate the packaging, it is almost impossible to reseal. I currently use three pegs to keep it close. I much prefer a tub, easier to use scoop in a tub rather than bag. Having got the negatives out of the way, I am 71 years old and have taken up weight training, the so called experts say building muscle for a man of my age is difficult. Well they are wrong! since taking the product I have gained 10kgs and some excellent muscle definition. I am so pleased with the product I have got it on a regular monthly delivery, thus saving more money. I take one scoop with full fat milk mid morning, and the same before bedtime. It works for me, the only way you will know if it works for you is by trying it.

This is on 386 calories but says in the description that it is over 1000 calories. I feel ripped off as I would have never have brought this. Also only half of this was in the container as you can see from the pictures. The flavour is nice and tasty which I mix with evaporated tin milk, ice cubs and cold water.

So disappointed in this Instant Mass Heavyweight from Reflex. Seemed the ideal mass gainer over the winter season and it all started off well enough, tried the product buying the 2Kg tub and went on to buy this 5.4Kg as to be fair it mixes well and tastes OK (with milk, with water it’s not good). I had to drop to one scoop as two scoops was just too much to take in… the scoops are huge and it made well over a litre of shake which is a job to get down!
Despite this, for the first time ever in the years of drinking whey protein shakes I developed an intolerance to it. Approximately after 6 weeks or so I found I was experiencing terrible stomach bloating and discomfort, even a little nausea and a lot of wind (burps)! I’ve never had that before and it IS this product as I stopped taking it but maintained my other supplement products and sure enough my stomach settled and the burps were gone… I still have 2Kgs of unused product.. and I hate waste.

I received my order yesterday, 28 January 2020. However instead of the 5.4 kg bag I received 3 x 2.4 kg tubs. On first glance that is a bargain until you look at the best before date which is 18 March 2020. I had planned on using this product once or twice a week but that option isnโt there anymore so I better get consuming!! Just be aware of this if you purchase this product from this seller in the near future.
The instructions say to use a level scoop of the product… however the scoop is too big to fit out of the tub opening without tilting it, and you lose a lot of the content, either back into the tub or all over the kitchen counter!
