We haven’t had a freezer for a year and a half now as we didn’t really have room in our design for a new kitchen for a tall fridge freezer so just got an undercounter fridge.
When we used to have a fridge freezer we found all we used the freezer bit for was fish fingers, oven chips, ice creams and lollies and even then found packets in it that probably hadn’t been touched for months so had to chuck them out. Really only got this because I felt ripped off every time I paid over £2 for a single ice cream lolly from the shop up the road during summer when you could probably get a box of 4 from the supermarket for the same price, just needed a freezer too keep them in, plus it is nice to have the odd drink with ice cubes.
Got this freezer and it does look nice though not a lot of space inside which we did expect anyway. Have still managed to fill it with a big tub and small tub of ice cream, 3 boxes of ice lollies, ice cubes, a big bag of oven chips and some fish fingers. Can’t think…

Bought this as my fridge freezer isn’t quite big enough for my needs and the food for my two hounds. I read all the reviews and thought I’d go for it. I didn’t measure it properly and so it didn’t fit on my counter top as there are eye level cupboards. My fault!! So I put it on the floor in the utility where it is perfectly happy and provides me with an unexpected new surface. Inside the freezer it’s amazingly roomy and is perfect for the job. Runs very quietly and looks neat and tidy inside and out. I love it!!

My original order arrived with a very strong aluminium bar that supported the condenser unit etc extremely badly crushed and bent. The unit would not even sit squarely on the kitchen unit top. This rendered the components and seals prospectively damaged – take no chances with cyclopentane! This is really a product review rather than a packaging review, but the damage is due to the packaging and handling. This product is shipped from China & the factory packaging to the sides is thin, not comprehensive enough in size, and completely inadequate for purpose! Also if the support straps are cut the product is free to fall out of the bottom of the cardboard outer.

I prefer not to go in to the nightmarish and time-consuming returns process, suffice it to say I was told anything and everything over a protracted period, and around 12 contacts with Amazon Customer Services. I just moved into my first shared student house. It’s a nice place and everything is to a good standard, but there’s just one fridge freezer for every 5 people. This works out to less than half a shelf of each per person. It’s tolerable, but means you can’t buy a lot.

Looking on Amazon, I found this. The price seemed good and so far, it’s a pretty great freezer.
There’s enough space that I can get an extra 2 weeks worth of food, allowing me to better budget. The tray and wire rack being removable really helps with that.
It’s quiet enough to go in my room, too. It even fits under the desk in my room, though I have it on top.

This seems like a bargain and ideal for anyone where food space is an issue.
Overall, I’ve no complaints. It was even light enough that I could carry it up two flights of stairs without any hassle and the packaging was minimal and easy to dispose of, too.
