Heavier than the Makita products but my god this product is amazing! Great price, great product, works really well and has been amazing

I heard this product was good from friends and the internet, they were all right, cheaper than the competition and on the same level as the competition

Ensure you buy good quality screw sets and drill pieces as that is where DIY fails

Also this came with a Philips and flat head piece which was handy and it magnetically stays on the drill set 😀

Having put up a shed by hand due to my previous drill dying on the 3rd screw I purchased this,(post shed erecting). Looks the business and performance was impressive. Not the world’s greatest DIY man but nerves were soon eradicated once I put a tv on the wall using this. Straight into the wall with more power available than I needed. Bracket up and level. Tv was solid and safe,Chuffed. Time will tell if my skill levels continue with the other jobs that need doing! Two batteries made this great value and whilst unsure of how Long they last I can say that having drilled 4 deep holes into a concrete wall the drill performed fantastic and the battery never waned one bit. I will be looking for a nice case/bag for it soon

This is the first Ryobi tool I have purchased but won’t be the last based on the performance of this drill. I was sceptical of going the Ryobi one+ route and was just going to bite the bullet, pay the extra and go with Makita after using them at work and always being very impressed with the power, battery life and the amount of punishment they go through and just keep working.

However, for the price, the Ryobi is awesome. Not quite the power of the Makita’s but similar, well built, reassuringly weighty and very nice to use. Used today to drill 8mm clearance holes and drive 100mm timber locks and didn’t miss a beat. The performance was much better than I expected.

The only let down is the batteries and charger that come with the kit. The 1.5AH hour batteries do not last long at all and the charger is very slow. To slow to fully charge the 1st battery when using the 2nd. It took a good couple of hours after the 2nd battery was dead for the 1st to be charged.

    But for £75 you can’t ask…

Folks this is an excellent drill. I got this for about £69. I tell you it’s half the price of more professional drills but it’s definitely not half the performance. I have attached a picture of what’s in the box.

    Some pros
    – Excellent value for money
    – Build quality is excellent.
    – For the occasional DIY this will do just fine. It drills effortlessly.
    – Some reviewers said to find it heavy but I found I can comfortably lift these with one hand. (Might depend if you lift bro 🙂 )
    – 2 batteries (you’ll need them)
    – LED Light

    – No bag to store or carry it in.
    – No accessories except the one double ended bit you get for screwing.
    – Low powered batteries
    – Slow charger

Overall I would recommend to a friend and to you reading this. Give this a helpful vote if useful.

Fantastic! Bought this for screwing thick plywood to a double garage flat roof. Approx 200 screws plus 40 bolts. Managed it easily with plenty left in just one batrery. Torque settings give all tue optioms you need depending in the type of material, screw size etc so play around with them until you find the right one. Great deal for a great product, would recommend to amyone with good size diy projects who need reliable tools which work. Some have commented on the weight which i felt was perfect. Good weight means metal rather than plastic gears, clutch etc so better performance.

I got this to replace a cordless drill about 15 years old, which was ok but I was reduced to DIY battery packs, soldering in replacement rechargeables to keep it going. I had to use an odd size of battery and when my last batch of imported Chinese cells (not at all cheap) turned out to be such low performance I’d basically call them fakes, I gave up and binned the drill. I wanted something ok but for domestic use and the Ryobi got good reviews. I was taken by the idea of one battery for several tools. Since batteries had been the total problem with the last drill, that seemed something worth paying for.

Anyway, this drill turned out to be miles better than the old drill, far more powerful, 2 speed gearbox turned it into a serious screwdriver. Good speed control. Really solid build. Excellent chuck. Just a totally different league. I’ve not got out my (old but superb) 700w corded hammer drill since I bought this cordless, its up for most stuff (even 10mm bit drilling through hardwood…

It’s a lovely set 2 batteries all in all. It has lots of different settings to change it from a ‘normal’ drill to a hammer drill. Easy to connect drill bits in and then back out with the keyless ratchet, Fast and easy to use for a cordless. Two gears allow you to vary your power and speed levels and a variable speed trigger and an LED light offer visibility and control.

You can drill metal, wood, plastic, ceramics and more with just the standard drill function.

In-built torque ring which has 24 torque settings for that perfect finish.

Quality you would expect from Ryobi. I haven’t been let down with any of my Ryobi purchases. They’re built to last a long time.

    3-Function Drill, Screwdriver and Hammer.
    13mm Ratcheting Chuck
    50 Nm Motor
Variable speed trigger & LED worklight
    2x 1.3Ah Batteries, Charger & Bag incl
