Bought for expansion of memory for a Nintendo switch.
Couldn’t of been easier, plugged it in, the switch instantly recognised it, done its thing and then I transferred all the games to it.
Good value for money, no hassles and will be sure to buy again when need be
Amazon Customer –
Something is wrong with this device, cannot be fully formatted and cannot be easily read from my dashcam, I suspect it is fake
Christopher JA Coleman –
I thought I was buying 128 Gโs but once formatted there is only about 23 GB available. Tried it in windows as well as IPhone and iPad Pro and got the same readings. Well I have discovered that a fat 32 format has a maximum size of 32 gbs apparently. You should NOT be claiming this is 128 gbs without some sort of warning that as in my case this card will give you 105 GB less than advertised. Why on earth is the card not pre-formatted to allow purchasers the advertised amount?
R Sowden –
Just wanted to clarify some confusion around this product re: Christopher’s review, where they complain that the card only gives them 32 GB.
Re “Why on earth is the card not pre-formatted to allow purchasers the advertised amount?” – I can confirm that in fact the card comes formatted as exFAT and does give you access to the full 128 GB (~119 GiB). ๐
Christopher’s card was limited to 32 GB when he reformatted it to FAT32. This is a limitation of the windows format tool, which limits the size of FAT32 formatted storage to 32GB, and does not reflect on the SD card (it would affect any card in the same way).
He can recover the remaining space by reformatting to e.g. exFAT. If he does require it to be in FAT32, perhaps for use with an old camera, I understand this is possible with different formatting tools, like the free FAT32 Format tool (disclaimer: I’ve never used this myself).
I hope this helps Christopher get the most out of their purchase and puts another uneasy potential…

If I’m ever in the need for flash memory or SSD drives then I always buy Samsung these days. I have used SanDisk in the past but have had several of their micro/mini/SD cards die unexpectedly or become unreliable over time. Whilst I’m sure I’ve just been unlucky in the past I’ve been far more lucky with Samsung memory and, touch wood, had no failures.
I’ve purchased these to use with a couple of IP cameras and they work perfectly. To be fair the speed of this card is way overkill for an IP camera but I am sure it would perform really well in a mobile phone or tablet. My primary requirement was for a large size rather than high speed and this fits the bill perfectly.
The card also comes with a MicroSD to SD card adapter which might be useful for some people.
It’s also supplied in tamper proof packaging and actually quite fiddly to open without a pair of scissors.
Natasha –
No problems with the SD card at all, perfect. But the packaging it comes in was so difficult to get into that I ended up dropping it on the floor and loosing it! I then had to search on the floor for 30 mins and eventually found it under the sofa!
Other than that its great, I put it in my security camera and the 128GB stores about 2-3 days of constant footage

Great value Micro SD Card used in my Galaxy phone and now can store all the data/photos that I have on my laptop. Gives me extra security as well as access at any time. Don’t need to take my Laptop when travelling any more.
Also brilliant delivery system from Amazon with their tracking system. (They should take over the Government Track & Trace system for Covid-19.)

Samsung has a good tradition on those things.
I bought mine as extra storage for my mobile, so I’m not particularly picky about it. You might want it to record home made porn on your camera so you can post it on amateur niche xxx websites and get paid for the views, if so make sure it can accept data as fast as your camera writes it.
After that you’re ready to be a new John Holmes
