I have decided to write this review because I donโt think this convertible laptop/tablet really deserves the criticism it has received thus far. Donโt get me wrong, it has many flaws, but itโs not a terrible laptop.
Firstly, itโs incredibly light and thin. Even more than an Apple Macbook Air. If you are on the move a lot, this will probably appeal to you.
Another thing it has in common with Macbooks is it doesnโt have many ports. Three USB-C ports (one is Thunderbolt 4), a microSD slot and a 3.5mm headphone socket. Thatโs all. For more storage, there is a spare NVMe SSD slot on the 15โณ version, but I wouldnโt advise anyone to open this device and attempt an upgrade themselves, especially as it will likely void your warranty.
The Samsung software on this device is good, if not great. Definitely, a lot more work needs to be done in this area to improve ease of use. The Samsung ecosystem needs more time to improve, but Iโm sure the company will work on this, as they do on their…

The design of this notebook has to be seen to really understand the efforts Samsung has made to shrink a 15.6″ laptop to the size of a 13″ one. The Screen (which wobbles if its not on a table)is stupendous as is the touchpad. They even managed to squeeze in a separate numerical keypad. In my time with the notebook I managed to use it for 8+ hours without needing a charge. The hardware is as good as the best out there as its made of aluminium. As a Samsung stalwart and user for many years there was only 1 reason I was looking forward to this expensive notebook and that was to complete my ecosystem- Phone, watch, smartags, pay card etc. I only needed the quickshare function and Notes sync. Neither worked with the Galaxy Bookpro 360.
Firstly, quickshare would not find my oneUI 2.5 enabled Note 9 despite numerous calls to Samsungs tech support in India and the UK. Nobody at Samsung knew why it would not function as promised. The disappointment worked in either direction- phone to PC or…

Samsung have really messed up what could have been an amazing laptop by some sloppy design decisions.
1. Fingerprints. Anywhere you touch on the laptop looks like you’re fingers have been eating buttery toast. I can’t overstate how bad the problem is; after only a few minutes use you’ll then need a few minutes to wipe it clean. I’ve never come across a laptop that looks so grubby after such little use.
2. Fan noise. Fan noise is loud, louder than any other 11th gen laptop I’ve tried. It’s not just the fan itself, the grill covering the fan on the base is poorly designed so creates its own whistling noise due to air flow. Yes you can turn the fan off, but this reduces performance and is an unsatisfactory way to go about things.
3. Port selection. For reasons only known to Samsung, the standard Pro (not 360) comes with full size HDMI and USB ports. The 360 only has USB C, despite having room for all of them.
4. Hinge. Too weak to be used very effectively in tent mode.
All these problems…
