Artificial sweeteners leave a nasty aftertaste in my opinion.
I did take note of some suggestions of using Almond milk instead of water and I blitzed it in a jug with a hand blender so it was smooth and well blended and did taste nice while I drank it but I knew before checking the ingredients on the label there was definitely artificial sweeteners in there and I was craving food soon after.
I’m going to try plain vegan pea protein powder and concoct my own smoothie with a cup of blueberries from the freezer. If it needs sweetening I’ll add a little local honey to taste

I got this as I want to cut down on snacking and lose body fat in the “right” way. It increases satiety and does help if combined with sensible eating and exercise. Too early to say more, will update later on. The texture is OK, can be made w half skimmed milk, half water to make consistency better. Tastes fine, same as other similar products. Price and ingredients are good, contains chrome picolinate ,CLA + green tea extracts

this really is a lovely protein powder. Highly recommend the chocolate flavour.
here are a few tips because I tried this protein powder yesterday using 300ml water as instructed on the packaging and it wasn’t very pleasant. Actually it was kinda nasty
1. if your diet or calories allowance allows use 300ml of oat/almond/soy milk or whatever alternative you have in the fridge
2. Use a blender for 5-10 seconds for smoothness and to avoid lumps
3. leave it alone for a couple of minutes to settle
4. serve with some ice
5. if you’re overly bothered and picky about taste and texture like me then you do not use water

I love everything about this product! It tastes amazing it isn’t gritty it gets nice and thick and it’s low in calories. It also gets rid of my cravings for sweet stuff. I now drink one of these in replace of buying food at work and then have a healthy meal for tea. Great stuff and great price 👍

Was a little shocked, this must have been a bad batch, I have always rated Symex in the top 3 brands, it was like wallpaper paste, slimy, lumpy, and tasteless, I tried the second bag, though not quiet as bad, it was the same.

This tastes absolutely fine but after reading the ingredients list i won’t be buying again. Full of fillers and E numbers. It’s sold for health purposes but there is nothing healthy about this stuff!

I started having the sci mx meal replacement shakes and noticed these ones are a similar product but a lot cheaper and I use both side by side.
I prefer the flavour of the meal replacement shakes so I often mix them together to bulk it out as this is a lot cheaper. Alone the flavour is still good.
