Ms. Y. Hartlebury –
Love the fact that it’s light the picture quality is so good for such a little camera.

I bought this for work. Shutter speed is much slower than expected and a bit hit and miss when lighting is poor, but otherwise the pictures it takes are of reasonable quality.

the Camera will not get past set up as it can not see the SD card, the card came with the camera, so you would expect it to work, also the smaller SD card for a phone does not work in my phone! Tried new SD card’s this camera still does not work, and the seller will not reply!!

The camera itself is OK. Simple control buttons on the back and a reasonable lens and picture quality. It does feel a bit light and unsubstantial. I bought this for my 80-year-old mum at her request so it’s fine for what she needs. The bundle that came with this is very poor though. The camera bag is really cheap, shoddy material, and the two zips that open both broke on the first attempt to open the bag. The SD card that came with it is made by a company I’ve never heard of and didn’t work. I tried a spare SD I have from another camera and it worked fine. If I’d not binned the camera bag at my mum’s and then found out about the SD card later I’d definitely have sent it back for a refund.

Well, I opened the box in great excitement, charged the battery, inserted the memory card, turned on the camera and – phut! The screen was stuck on Language Settings and nothing else would load. No menu, no action, no pictures. I checked with the Sony Online Community, found that this was a common problem and tried a hard reset. Still phut! I rang Sony, who had nothing to offer. I was then refunded immediately by Amazon, but I could not recommend this camera to anyone. That said, the hard reset might work for others, so here it is: fully charge the battery, remove it from the camera, hold down the on/off button for two minutes, then reinsert the battery. You should be back to the original or factory settings. For me, this just meant more phut! But good luck to everybody else.

This little camera is so full of technology I just could not fathom it out, I suppose my 70 years are showing through, but i really would have liked to be able to have operated it properly!
it was just the right size and weight to carry in the pocket, I reiterate This little camera is so full of technology I just could not fathom it out, I suppose my 70 years are showing through,

The main negative is that the Memory card provided does not work in the camera. Will be looking for compensation.
