Couldn’t find a replacement for my older Xperia X Compact, as I am looking for smaller phone, something under 6″. The only available compact phone on the market at the time was iPhone 12 mini (but I don’t want an iPhone). Xperia 10 III is not the smallest, but the fact that it’s narrow makes it much more comfortable to use with one hand, so I got pretty much what I was looking for. Pros: battery life, bright screen, waterproof, overall pretty and slick-looking phone that is comfy to use. Cons: my only complaint so far is that camera is very slow, both to focus and to take a shot when the button is pressed.

I have had a few Sony phones and they never failed to amaze me. The cameras ar very good. In fact the only down side hence 4 stars is that being android 11 a few of my apps don’t work. When they get caught with updates then 5 stars. Battery life is amazing. The Google button on the side isn’t programmable. I prefer that as camera shutter button.
Compared to the more expensive smartphones I think it is way ahead for the price.

Purchased this phone as an upgrade to my Z3. Well pleased. Very easy to Setup with aid of Product
Manual from Sony which I downloaded onto my Netbook prior to purchase. Without doubt by doing this
it was fairley easy to do a step by step correct Setup. The phone is sleek and responsive. Battery life is
amazing. Just take your time going through the Setup. Quality phone. Excellent price.

Build quality is average, earphones are not included, irrespective of mentioned on amazon’s uk site, called the Cs they directed me for a refund, no solution! Phone looks cheap. With very low quantity sound through phone speaker and through headphone. I guess Sony spend Money on only making the phone water tight.

I’ve been a user of Sony phones since the days of their partnership with Ericsson (yeah remember them?). I bought this to replace my aging Xperia XZ who’s battery just wouldn’t hold charge and the memory struggled to keep up.
I’m not a busy on the go business user, or a young adult keeping up on all the socials, so I was looking for something that could do everything I needed at a reasonable price.
Whilst this phone cost more than my old one it is an improvement in terms of memory, storage capacity and screen resolution. Having decent WiFi and network helps but browsing is quick and easy, the split screen feature is really useful for comparing prices etc on different sites for example.
The only thing that really lets it down is the camera, it’s not the greatest (even compared to my 4yr old one), and the start up and focusing will annoy you with how slow it is. It’s not a deal breaker but Sony have always had great cameras on their phones I’m not sure what happened here!
Anyway as a mid…

Goods about the phone it’s fast has 5G.
Bads finger print reader is very unresponsive at times and the other thing my cheaper Sony phone had alot better camera then this phone so if your getting a phone for good photos this isn’t your phone I really love Sony products and I like this phone but for the price it could be better.

Pros: Good battery, decent price, slim, SD card slot, audio jack, no notch, 5G
Cons: sometimes slow/unresponsive, screen is not great, manage to crash multiple times in first few days using – buggy software. Unable to uninstall bloatware. Fingerprint reader is small and not that forgiving. Unable to remap dedicated Google assistant button – now I have 3 different ways to not to use Google assistant. Unable to hide apps from menu like I could on HTC (man, I miss them making phones).
Not quite regretting the purchase yet, perhaps not bad for £400
