I like Sony products so decided to take the plunge with the entry level Xperia (so the camera has an inferior lens) but I wasn’t really bothered about that. Anyway, the phone is great and having used Windows Phone for years I was coming over to Android and the OS on the whole is better in the sense that it is far less sluggish. I’m now able to complete tasks such as web browsing much quicker than I could have with my previous phone.
The most impressive feature of the phone besides the design (which I really like with the feeling of the back cover which is less likely to slip out of your hand although I’d recommend a case), is the battery life where the phone will last for days if not heavily used. Even if you watch some videos it can last for quite a while although it depends on how long you’re watching videos. If there’s a negative of the Xperia it is that it’s stuffed with useless apps that are hard to remove. The default space is almost taken up by 50% with apps but you can…

The phone arrived in excellent time and it was well packed for increased protection. The phone itself behaves smoothly with no issues whatsoever, although I have been using it for a few weeks now. The screen is crystal clear and the sound is crisp and loud (if needed). Now, the camera quality itself is a little low in certain lights and behaves very slow or moves in low frames. However, taking in consideration the offer and the low price it came with, I definitely think that it is a good deal.

I have to say I am pleasantly surprised by this phone. Having lost my Samsung S6, and insurance taking am eternity, I decided to buy a cheap phone in the interim. This phone does not disappoint. I put my apps on easily and was set up in no time. It’s very like the Samsung actually and I have to say I have no complaints so far. Have been using it for a week. The only noticeable difference is the camera is better on the Samsung but I can live with that. For ยฃ120 this phone is a great buy.

I like this phone, it is cheap and cheerful. The camera is of good quality for a phone of this price. The only issues I have found
1. I appear to have less signal than I have with previous phones – not sure why this is. Sometimes on phone calls the quality is not great because of this. But otherwise it is fine
2. I filled up the memory very quickly because it is constantly trying to get me to update the software. Which I have stopped doing now. As soon as it is updated, I get a notification for yet another update.
Other than these, the phone is great and I am very happy with my choice.

Purchased this phone as a second device for another number.
So far, I am very pleased with it.
It runs well, not running any intensive things on it, but casual surfing/texting works pretty well.
Performs greatly overall.
Two downsides would be the very cheap speaker, it’s barely strong enough in order to hear someone when talking with them over it.
And secondly, the camera is nothing special.
Overall 4 stars out of 5.

Had this phone about a year and it’s still going strong, it’s indestructible! I have dropped it, crashed my bike and fell on the phone, with minor damages to the side button area, phone still works fine. Main faults would be the battery life is something you have to constantly be aware of with what apps you’re using and stuff. Also the micro sd slot seems cheaply made, you cant really tell if its inserted correctly just put it in and hope for the best.. Overall though for ยฃ70 second hand not a bad phone, good interface, large display, decent camera for its time and very durable.

You get alot of features for your money,too much to mention and set up is easy for your own needs. Has a large screen and built in support. Comes with mains plug and lead but no car adaptor or bluetooth. Still it is a better upgrade than my previous x7.

I purchased this phone from Amazon unlocked for work use. I have always had iPhones for personal use but fancied trying an android phone for work purposes. I am genuinely blown away at how good this phone is for the price. I cannot see hundreds of pounds worth of difference between it and the recent iPhones and other flagship devices from other brands. It performs perfectly well at everything and I thoroughly enjoy using it. It just goes to show what a load of hype and nonsense there is for so called flagship devices. Donโt get me wrong, I love my iPhone 7plus, but I also love this phone. Forget the fact itโs referred as an โentry levelโ or โmid rangeโ device, it really is excellent. Great job Sony.
