Very good almost new phone

It would be a decent phone if it was about 50-100 pounds cheaper. In the year and a half I’ve had it, it was worked fairly well although it will randomly crash for no reason. The screen also completely died for no reason and although it was covered by the warranty, Sony customer support in Ireland still charged me a 15 euro handling fee. Is now an average phone at best

This model isn’t that much different from the model above xz3. The screen is smaller but all the features do far seem the same.
Its half the price of the of a xz3.
No brainer would pick the xz2 unless you need a bigger screen.

Works as description performed well by now

Poor phone. No earphone jack, annoyingly over sensitive touch screen, sms is difficult to add contacts, plagued with google products, slow to respond (double tapping is necessary)
Ive been using Sony phones since nokia was bought out by windows and have found this phone to be a bit of a mess. L2 did more and cost 25% of the zx2.
I’ll try samsung next.

I had an Xperia Z5 for 3 years, sadly the battery was getting weak so I had decided to upgrade. I like Android’s OS and started looking at my options. Most of the phones were quite expensive and didn’t offer me more for the asking price. XZ2 was an obvious choice considering that the price was around ยฃ300. It feels a little heavier than Z5 but feels sleek. The camera is good and has a lot of different functionalities. At first, it might seem like Pixel or iPhone cameras are easier to use and produce better images. However, Sony offers you more settings which are great once you know how to use them, plus better low light images and a much better resolution with 19 megapixels. I like the fact you can customise your home screen with different themes, colours, grid layout and widgets. Another useful feature is the single hand mode. All of those features are very limited on some Android devices that I have used as well. If you are looking for a stylish phone, that does not cost like a…

This is my everyday phone. I love it. Very fast, lots of storage, wifi and bluetooth connections are pretty instant. Battery life is great – with heavy use only needs charge every few days. The screen quality is excellent with deep blacks and shadows, and the adaptive brightness works very well even in bright sunshine. Screen mirroring is quick and efficient. If you don’t want to fork out the money on the very latest model, but want a quality phone definitely consider the xz2.

A great phone with pretty much all the latest features you need AND upgradeable to the latest Android version (Pie as of now).
Water resistant and all that good stuff too.
Didn’t have a 3.5mm to type-c converter for some reason, which is annoying, but oh well, t’was a bargain to begin with.
