Amazon Customer –
After lots of research and looking at reviews this was a top rating so went with it, arrived within 2 days (courrier did leave outside when we were away in boiling weather) have had it running for a couple of days. This product is so quiet and appears to be doing just what it is meant to do. Nice cold drinks we are very pleased
Mr. N Mather –
What an awesome little fridge. I was looking for a mini fridge for my bedroom to store cans and bottles for those nights you wake up with a mouth drier than the Sahara desert.
I was taking my time to find the ‘best’ mini fridge, since I was looking to pay quite a premium price it took quite a while to settle on which one to buy. I’m so glad I went this this bad boy.
It’s nice and quiet and doesn’t bother me in the slightest when going to sleep. Sure, you can hear it, but it’s not loud enough for you to take any particular notice to it. I’m the type of person who cannot sleep with ANY noise for some reason and well, I can sleep just fine with this little beauty just inches from my head.
The drinks are kept very cold, it stores a LOT of cans (I managed around 44 with some bottles too) and has removable ledges so you can fit bigger bottles in the bottom part.
It’s well worth the £124.99 I spent on it. I even recommended it to friends and family. It’s worth noting that the fridge is a bit…

Amazing mini fridge, owned a husky mini fridge before this and this manages to keep a far more consistent temperature throughout the whole fridge as well as managing to go to much lower temperatures. With the husky I had to max out the thermostat at 5 and it still wasn’t cold enough, with this fridge I’ve got it set on 3.5-4 on the thermostat and after 12 hours all my drinks are perfectly cold and ready to drink. The built in led light is a nice addition as well and the materials and over all build quality seem top notch. Very good fridge, would recommend to anyone.

Excellent small fridge with lots of room for drinks.
Bought to go in my new home bar. It can hold at least 3 x bottles of wine or 3x2L sparkling water lying down on the top shelf, and lots of cans and bottles of beer on the second shelf and base.
Very happy with it. It keeps the drinks lovely and cold.

Bought this for my husband and he absolutely loved it. Nice and quiet, holds plenty, I put in 4 cans 440ml 4 cans 565ml and 11 bottles ranging from 33cl to 50cl and a litre bottle of vodka plus some chocolate perfect for his man cave

There’s a lot of reviews stating a lot of good things, I’ll start by saying that I agree with most of them. What I wanted to put a review here for was to go against some other people who say this thing is quiet. I would NOT recommend this for a bedroom. For most of the day this thing is completely silent, but when it turns on it does make a humming noise, sometimes a tinny vibrating sound – I can’t quite figure out what is causing this but it stops if I put pressure on the top. If it were just a light humming then it would be okay, it’s more the way it stops and starts a bit louder which was pretty jarring the first time I heard it.
For a small home office, living room, kitchen or wherever it should be fine. I can just about hear it with my headphones on but it’s not all that bad, though if I wanted to have some peace and it decides it’s time to rattle then I need to find somewhere else now.
That said, it is a fantastic fridge with temperature control and a light inside. I would…

The SubCold Super50 Led drinks fridge is an excellent alternative to the usual Husky Themed fridges. Slightly larger, (it holds 45 cans against 40 cans), it has a lockable door and two shelves which gives the owner a very good variation in the ways the fridge can be used – 45 cans as mentioned, bottles of lager/beer laid flat, larger bottles stored vertically etc etc.
The fridge has a wider operating range than the Husky, (1 – 18 degrees, as against 5 – 15 degrees), it is also more economical to use. Power consumption for the SubCold is rated at 84 Kwh for a year, as against 96Kwh for a Husky. It’s also quiet.
The fridge has a lockable door (2 keys supplied), so if your fridge is left in a communal area, you can prevent some anti-social sorts from “Borrowing” your booze!
Oh, and just as an added bonus, it’s 20 quid cheaper than a Husky!
In summary – Excellent Drinks Fridge; Fully Recommended.

I have purchased this fridge with my hopes up almost two months ago. it had really good reviews and i trust Amazon. After about a month fridge back plate started icing up and all my dairy products (milk) started going bad within 2-3 days. i have contacted customer services and they advised to turn the fridge up for 24hrs and get rid of the ice issue and everything should go back to normal. surprise surprise it didn’t. fridge keep working its compressor keeps coming on and off once in a while and temperature is 6-9 degrees while on setting ‘5’. whats worse is the fact that Subcold stopped communication and left it with no response. now i’m stuck with a faulty expensive good looking fridge. it might be my bad luck but customer services definitely didnt help.
i’ve seen a couple of reviews from other customers with this issue. just wanted to let you guys know about this.
