I really like this item, it’s lighter than my old one and much quieter. The only niggle is that it stains much easier but apart from that I’m very happy

Purchased this for my 87 year old mother who used a Jamie Oliver pressure cooker until it started giving her problems after about 8 years. This replaced her Jamie model, and she loves it. Its a simple design and given my mothers age, she has taken to using this every day and like a duck to water.
Gwyneth Edwards –
Liked how well it cooked the food quick and easy and washes up easy to

I hate cooking and don’t like spending time at it – but I always eat healthily and thought a pressure cooker would help to get healthy meals prepared quickly.
This pot is hopeless, and is much slower than the meals I prep in the microwave and then finish on the stove.
There are no recipes so you don’t have a clue how to start – not even a couple of basic things so you can can get acquainted with it and then adapt those to your prefered recipes.
The pressure is too low to cook anything faster than I could in the microwave.
I’m not surprsied that this is quite difficult to buy and doesn’t appear on the Tefal website – it is hopeless and I had to wait for it to be shipped from different Amazon hubs to get to me – wish they had said it was unobtainable and I wouldn’t have wasted so much money!
I have just spent £137 on something I used once and won’t use again – nothing like an old fool!

This was a replacement for a 20 year old pressure cooker. There are MUCH cheaper ones on the market, but I felt it was worth the investment if it’s going to last as long as the last one did. Cheaper ones are made by unknown brands, whereas Tefal is a trusted maker. Used it a couple of times and it’s great! Love the easy open/close lid, plus it has its own timer. Easy to clean, works beautifully.

Great system. The heat-activated timer is quite useful.
It is quite sad that those cookers don’t come with the cookbook anymore. Even a pdf version that you can keep on the iPad could be nice
Cooking time given on the summary page in the instruction manual are too long

I love brand tefal and always trusted the quality. However this model seems bit tried over complicate the model and ruined it.
The part where attached clock was leaking the steam, even on smallest pressure it starts leaking the steam.
Could be better do make sure main purpose of the item stays reliable as it should be. I have returned mine back.

I’m absolutely happy with this pressure cooker. It’s smaller than you might think, but for us, after all children left the house, it’s perfect. Easy to handle anD I really like the closing mechanism and the timer
