Aidan Rayner –
Setup was nice and quick, screen looked fairly decent but isn’t particularly high res. It’s pretty fast too and features some things even my Series 5 Apple Watch doesn’t have.
First couple of days were great. I couldn’t particularly feel the vibration motor that well but the speaker was plenty loud enough instead. Heart rate measurements worked well and it was tracking my day just fine. The charger is pretty fiddly to use as it’s a tiny little arrangement of pins that don’t really attach with much force.
Then I accidentally caught the side of it on my pocket and the top button got stuck. Attempting to put it back on again didn’t work…and then it came off entirely and would not stay on.
At this point, I returned it. If it couldn’t handle being caught on my pocket, I couldn’t trust it to live up to daily usage like that. Plus the fact it shouldn’t break that easily after only a couple of days use.
It’s a shame because otherwise it had potential. If the buttons were more like the Galaxy…

I have moved to the Ticwatch E3 from the Ticwatch Pro. The fact that it’s my 2nd Ticwatch tells you that I think the brand is great in the first instance.
I went for the new one as I wanted the lifestyle monitoring – things like stress monitoring, breathing aid, sleep monitoring etc aswell as the usual fitness tracking.
The user interface is now silky smooth, there is no delay when you swipe, scroll or start an app – it just works beautifully.
The screen seems more vibrant and the text all looks clearer. Think the resolution must be a little lower than the Pro.
There is now a 2nd button on the Ticwatch, like my Pro had, which is great news. Pressing this brings up your fitness apps.
The magnetic charger has been shrunk right down which is nice – no plug is included which is a good thing, we all have hundreds of these things now, so good to see another one not being wasted.
The stretchy rubber strap is more comfortable than my Pro strap, meaning training with it on is a dream, it feels…

Warning: This item was returned to Amazon Leeds depot and Royal Mail proof of return has also been sent, yet they still threaten to charge me again. SO Wrong!
The most uncomfortable watch ever. Extremely disappointed. Many of the features claimed by Mobvoi are either absent or don’t work. The watch only detected 3 out of 8 hours sleep and didn’t sync that properly with Google Fit. Heart rate measurements were wildly out and didn’t sync with Google Fit. The claimed autodetection and logging of walking and running doesn’t work at all. The sweet smell of bullsh!t – it reeked of it!
Overall it is just another very overpriced mediocre wearos watch with abysmally bad battery life of no more than a day, just updating it wiped out 75% of its charge. Returned within 24 hours.

I was looking to replace my old Huawei Watch 2 as the heart rate monitoring gave up. I actually bought the E2 as it was on sale for only ยฃ70 , but from day 1 I regretted as it was very slow, and kept freezing as I was trying to set it up. I decided I would return it when this dropped last week and buy one of these; despite it being ยฃ100 more the feature increase seemed worth it.
The battery is better, although it is in that awkward not quite good enough for 2 days so you have to charge it part way through the day which defeats the point. This is with AOD off, a fairly minimal face, essential mode, from 1200-0700 and brightness set to 2. Brightness on minimum is fine indoors, but unusable outdoors.
The way the watch runs is MUCH better than the E2, and better than the Huawei Watch 2 I had prior. Everything is silky smooth, 0 hitches or stutters. The SD 4100 really makes a difference.
Looks wise, despite the rather large bezel, it is a quite nice looking watch. It is simple, and not…
