I usually use a pressure cooker for cooking vegetables. This is a little slower to reach pressure, but cooks well. The lid closes easily but is rather heavy.

Very solid quality item. The timer which fits in the lid is a bit unnecessary but fortunately is easily removed if you want to put the lid in the dishwasher. The locking mechanism is very easy to use unlike some pressure cookers which require you to precisely line up the lid with the base and twist to lock. The two small handles at either side rather than one long one makes it much easier to lift and store in a cupboard when not in use.

Good solid piece of kit. The main body is fairly heavy and the lid locking mechanism is easy to use. Easy to clean, sealing ring is simple to pop out and put back in and safety valves are accessible to check they are clear. Bought this over an electric appliance as I wanted to use on a gas hob. Have cooked a gammon joint which took half an hour as opposed to 1 1/2 hours roasting and tonight will be chicken casserole which will take 12 minutes, so economical too.

This is one pressure Cooker I have come across that is good quality and easy to use.
Great with pulses, meat. The only thing I find a little confusing is the timer button.

The media could not be loaded.

ย After turning off the hob and leave the pressure cooker to cool down and stopped the noise completely, I tried to open the lid and suddenly exploded and the soup went everywhere, luckily my daughter didnโ€™t get burnt as she was next to me. I had a panic attack after that thinking my daughterโ€™s whole leg got burnt.
I returned the pot and not purchasing the brand anymore. It was a horrific experience.
