This product has vastly improved my vigin media hub 3 performance issues. When speed testing my WiFi from various points in home I have had increased range, speed and reliability. The hub 3 has been shocking for years. The WiFi speed has increased by 100+Mbps (no other alterations have been made other than the introduction of the router) when in the same room and has a better range over all. I can trottle the children’s internet so they don’t hog the whole bandwidth while on there xbox’s etc each item added to the router can be allocated an amount of bandwidth and with the added bonus of profiles for each child I can set different bedtimes. So all there technology looses Access at bed time. No more sneaky kids watching YouTube under the bed covers.the router is very easy to set up and has a great app that allows access directly into the router to achieve the desired bedtimes and throttling.

I got this in the Amazon prime sale. I couldn’t turn the deal down and I’m glad I didn’t. I have used this to replace the dreaded virgin super hub WiFi and as a bonus I now have the mesh WiFi with two of my extenders. Killed two birds with one stone

Excellent price and product

Much better than the one that came from my ISP, recently had an issue with it after 2 years and they sent a replacement really fast, highly recommended.

I bought this to replace a mishmash solution of a older Wireless Access Point and several repeaters. It has replaced all of them as it covers the entire house without the need for repeaters.
Easy to set up, and unlike TP-Link’s mesh products, does not require you to install an app on your phone and create an account on a cloud somewhere, as it has a fully-featured local web interface on the device. This was of importance to me.

Our situation: we had been using our Virgin Media-issued Hub 3 in a small one bedroom flat. Coverage was terrible – you wouldn’t receive a signal at all if you were at the other side of the house. We used a WiFi extender which did the job, but we didn’t get anywhere near the 250mbps we were paying for using that – usually 40-50mbps, and WiFi extenders typically have frequent latency spikes due to the hop which can be a huge pain if you’re into gaming.
The C80 was a much needed upgrade. Strong coverage throughout the house, zero latency spikes and we are now getting much closer to the 250mbps download speed we’re paying for on all devices.
