Needed a very small fast POE (Power Over Ethernet) ethernet switch with only 2 ports, to tether our high-end medium format digital camera system. This tiny little unit fitted the bill perfectly. We can now connect the camera up to 100m (we are currently only using 20m). The connection is fast and reliable. We are capturing and transferring 150Mp RAW images all day. As well as having almost unlimited tethered distance, the POE keeps the camera charged permanently. Also, the locking feature of the RJ45 is an added bonus, compared to the normal USB connection.

Works well as gigabit switch and powers a Unifi AC lite AP no problem. Looses a star as the DC jack on the back pops out very easily.

I was using this to supply two Poe cameras but one of the ports seemed like it burnt out only supplying power but no data, i used another port and that worked. This switch is weak, I wouldn’t recommend it

This is the first time I have used one of these switches so I cannot give a comparative view, but I am very pleased with how it works. I installed it, it worked and has continued to work without any further attention (about 2 months now).

Yes this is a POE switch, not very interesting. It appears to meet all the specifications given. All my powered devices achieved their required current, speed and bandwidth. I tried to stress the switch but I never managed to cause any major drops in performance. I managed to run 4 ports above 200 mbps while drawing about 100Watts.

Great value POE switch. I’ve got a Ring Camera Elite and a Ubiquiti AC Lite access point both powered from this.

I use this to connect various devices to my network from the far end of the house, via a powerline adapter. Connects and powers a CCTV camera through a single Ethernet patch cable and connects my 5G router. Neat and cost-effective.
