I have a RIDICULOUSLY strong staffie! She’s not the biggest but can shred virtually any toy without fail and if she sees a cat on a walk or someone we know you best believe she’s pulling (working to get this under control, as she was a rescue we have only had for a few months:)) and she has previously snapped two extendable leads, one within the first use of it so I tried this due to the amazing reviews! And I will never go back, it hasn’t frayed, snapped or anything despite her strength and is super comfortable to hold (also a lush colour!) would highly recommend!:)

A brilliant find, this extending lead is perfect for me and my dog. The handle is very comfortable to hold, the lead extends, retracts and locks extremely easily. The extra piece added to the lead for those dogs that like to grab and chew their lead was so useful. Great buy.

Three reasons this one is better than most others:
    1. The flat tape is far more resistant to tanging than those thin cords other brands have
    2. The hand hole is actually big enough to get your hand in (some others are too small, strangely)
    3. The push button locking system works better than a slider – so if your dog suddenly runs onto the road, you can instantly lock it (unlike sliders, which are slower and sometimes jam)

During the ongoing pandemic it has been advised that we keep our dogs on leads. The one we currently use for walking Marley along the road can’t be retracted – and we don’t want it to as we want to keep him close to us. But, for walks at the park or on a recreational ground this lead is perfect.

It gives me Marley the freedom to be able to go into the woods and under bushes and in thickets without dragging me in there with him. It’s a sturdy lead, heavier than it looks. Locking into place is simple via a catch on the button – it does occassionally get stuck though, which can be annoying but when retracting, the lead pulls tight and fast. A great quality lead.

Got this as my other half prefers an extender lead. He says he’s really pleased with it. Only issue is my other half is 6ft 6 tall and has large hands. He says it’s tight and isn’t quite wide enough where his fingers meet his palm. It painful when the dog pulls.
He’s says it’s great quality but may not be great for people with big hands.

Fantastic lead! It’s lightweight but strong. My dog, Tiger (pictured here) is a strong boy, and nearly pulled out my partners arm when he tried running down the lake, but the lead didn’t snap at all! Every other lead I’ve had has snapped or stopped working, especially the retractable ones.

It looks nice, it’s lengthy, the buttons to let it loose, hold and lock in place are great too, so fluid and simple. It even came with a spare lead if my dog were to destroy the current one! 10/10 would buy this again but I don’t think I’ll need to as its so good 😁😁😁

Bought this lead for my hound pup who loves a sniff and explore but can not yet be trusted of lead. I bought this as it had good reviews and sounded more sturdy than the others i was looking at. I have only had it 3 weeks so i can’t comment on how long it will last but so far i am impressed, the lead is a good length and runs in and out smoothly. The lock function is easy to use so you can react quickly when you need to stop dog going further. The lead seems good quality and the fact you get a extra bit of lead to click on for dogs who tend to chew leads is a nice touch. I got the larger one that is meant to sustain the weighy of bigger dogs as my pup will grow to be medium to large dog and i am hoping it will last a good while. My pup responds well to this lead as doesn’t pull even when on short length, but seems much happier on walks now he can explore more freely when appropriate. As it stands i would highly recommend this lead

I’ve had this lead less than 2 weeks and my cocker spaniel is only 15 weeks old. Today the lead snapped right where it meets the hardware that attaches it to the dog’s collar. Thankfully it was at the end of our walk and we were on my property so no harm came to the dog. Wouldn’t recommend this product at all it is nowhere near as strong as the write up makes it out to be. It’s a complete waste of money.
