I have been giving my springer spaniel a daily Whimzee for many months now, purchasing this box repeatedly for best value and because it doesn’t contain the rice bones (he can’t eat rice in any form). However after starting the most recent box, he has suffered from terrible diarrhoea, which seems to stop if I stop giving them to him and start as soon a I give them to him again. I can’t help but wonder if there is a problem with this batch. I certainly won’t be feeding him another one ever again.

I brought these after reading all the excellent reviews on subscribe and Save as wanted a healthy gluten free treat for my girls. One wouldnโ€™t touch it as even the small was too big and she usually loves her treats and my other pooch loved it but extremely saddened when she had a couple of days after eating them of a really badly upset tummy. She had severe diarrhoea and between a vet and us the only thing we could put it down to was the only change in diet was this new addition……If I could give no stars I would because they deserve none Iโ€™m afraid. For us NOT value for money at all and a very upset tummy for a poor little darling!!! I continued with her usual diet and havenโ€™t given them again. Nothing like this has happened before or since using them. So please give with caution. There is obviously something that has the potential to cause SEVERE TUMMY UPSETS!!!! Not good at all! I also notice that all the reviews are by people whoโ€™ve have got the product free. So I donโ€™t feel…

My dogs have always had whimzees treats and have not had any problems with their poop. These ones have made their poop a very beige/light clay coloured sticky mess which smells foul. I will throw the rest of these away and will stick with the whimzee boxes that I previously bought. On the tub it does say these are made for North America so I donโ€™t know if they were imported but I do know theyโ€™re not the same recipe as the variety boxes, they are also a lot softer in texture. I wouldnโ€™t recommend these chews at all.

My 2 year old lab loves these. He would eat the whole box if he could!
They’re supplied in a sturdy and resealable tub with handle. You get a mixture of different fun shapes, and the toothbrush and stick ones definitely work to clean the rear teeth.
I wish these were not so expensive, but they are good quality and natural – so it’s an occasional treat.

My rescue pup loves these. I like that they are natural. He was however scared of the alligator ones to begin with and we had to go through the whole charade of barking/growling/throwing them and killing it before he chewed them. His favourite are the toothbrush shaped ones which you can buy separately in pouches. Also hedgrhogs!

Our Border Collie, Storm, is quite well known across social media for her antics and all the chews and treats that we use to train her and keep her healthy. Over the last 14 months of having her in our lives we’ve gradually moved away from tough Nylabone plastic chews that she was destroying, and used more natural or healthy chews such as Antlers, hoofs and Whimzees chews.

While the brand of antler we have for Storm lasts months and is her go-to round the clock chew, as a treat we give her a daily Whimzees chew. And she properly loves them. She’ll smash through it 5-10 minutes, but they’re great for helping keep her teeth and gums in healthy shape. She’s regularly pictured on Instagram and Facebook with a mouth full of Whimzees, to the point where Whimzees contacted me to see if we’d liked to be interviewed at Crufts this year. We declined because of scheduling issues, which was a shame as Storm might have been able to wag her tail and get a few freebies! We’re not in anyway…

Fantastic value compared to buying at a pet store. I have my doubts that these are large treats though. The hedgehog and crocodile are quite small and last my big dogs about 30 seconds per piece. The toothbrush and stick last about a minute. This is still a big improvement on most other dental chews. A dentastix takes 10 seconds and a tails daily chew lasts an unbelievable 3 seconds. If your dogs are monster munchers like mine I would recommend a beef skin or tail chew, but NEVER rawhide.
All in all, I wouldn’t hesitate to order these again and would LOVE an extra large treats variety box.

I have started using these after changing from Dentastix. It definitely takes my Border Collie longer to chow these down and I am a lot more confident of what she is actually consuming. I was prepared for a bout of diarrhoea after first consuming these but her poos are fine.
I am also happy with the fact she now has some kind of variety for her bedtime snack without compromising her sensitivity. The crocodiles and toothbrushes are cute but I think she prefers the sticks! I think it’s just because it’s a shape she is used to. Either way, we are all happy with this product despite it costing three times as much.
