Very good for those just looking to control the lights through mi software.
The lan control is firmware locked. I have spent ages looking online on forums, and have yet to get a solution.
Such a shame as my old one worked with Google home and other software, and could be automated and controlled with some choice.
The mi software you have to use with these bulbs isn’t as good or as customisable as others.
A real shame.

Got the item as it had a nice warm tone and looked very professional. On usage the light was very dim to the extent I thought I need another lamp here, and brought over a lamp from the office to โbrighten the corner up.โ Went back to a trusty tp link smart bulb I have in many parts of the house and found it to be significantly brighter.

Best smart bulbs I ever got I have them in my room and they are so handy I will be putting them all over the house

Avoid if you care about freedom.
Avoid companies like this and buy smart items that used open communication systems like ZigBee.
Xiaomi decided they would disable LAN control on their devices.
These bulbs now have zero home assistant comparability.
I’m selling my XIAOMI products.
Also bulbs randomly disconnect quite often.
& If you make the bulbs white 100% via the Google home app the light comes out very dim(so even then your still forced to use the their app instead of the Google app)
