Got this for my sons home learning, so far we are happy with the purchase. I would recommend.
Val Wellings –
Sent back as only uses an American keyboard and no amount of installation or uninstalling keyboard and changing to English Uk will sort the issue but if you are happy with that then most definitely a good buy

Using this as my new work laptop, mainly being used for development of web applications. For the spec offered this is excellent value for money. Overall I’m very pleased I chose this. Below I will write some good things and some bad things.
Good things
Excellent Price for specs
Good screen
Charges on something that isn’t usb-c (usb c charge ports can get broken over time through general use and are expensive to repair)
No manufacturer bloatwear (just Microsoft)
Extremely simple to open the chassis and change. Literally 10 seconds to add another slot of Ram into the spare slot.
Bad things
It does come installed with Windows Home, but on a dodgy product key, have seen others in reviews say the same. However it is under £20 to purchase a windows home product key. Bit naughty really from them here and I expect this wasn’t a mistake.
American keyboard layout, but the give you some gummy English keys to put over it if it bothers you.
The up, down side arrows and the return key are goofy shapes and…

The lap top is well built has a great screen, plenty of ram 16gb and a large SSD. laptop works fine will play 4K vids when streaming, again this is not a gaming machine ok for general computing, surfing the net using office and streaming. The only problem I had was signing into my Microsoft account, had to do it the long way round by signing into office or Microsoft store then it updated to my account. Had the laptop for a while now all seems ok once you overcome the connecting to your MS account. very fast machine but not a gaming machine, the only downside I have is there is only one USB port , would have been better with at least two.

Purchased this for my daughter for her school work, and was a bit hesitant given the apparent high spec compared to others for a fraction of the cost. The sacrifice is in Processor speed, but for most school and basic Office type work, this is a more than capable device.
Build quality is good, it looks and feels like a much more expensive laptop, and it comes with a keyboard overlay to account for having a USA keyboard layout – note, some fast touch typers may find this a pain. Battery life is OK, and the screen is excellent – very clear and bright. Sound quality is also very good for the money.
Setup process was simple to follow and worked a charm with no issues
Downloaded and installed MS Office (using a license I already had) and it runs very well so far.
All in all, a very good choice for a value for money school or simple Office laptop

I was well past time to upgrade my P.C. the last one I bought was 2nd hand 18years ago. I went for the best spec for the price.
I was impressed with how well it was packaged. I use the slip cover all the time. I didn’t need the extra floppy keyboard thingy, as, I found the @sign quite easily and when you’ve typed it a few times, it becomes natural.
The set up was very easy with Cortana talking me through the whole procedure.
It is so….quick, from switching on, to a working p.v. is almost instant. Very happy..
The battery has an excellent life, used it for nearly all day and still had life left.
So far can’t find anything negative.

It’s fantastic for this money. You can open 30 tabs and you still can’t use more than 30% CPU. 16 GB of RAM is so nice! And so much storage!
Nonetheless take into consideration the following:
It’s a bit noisy. It doesn’t bother me, but consider it.
The battery life is very short. Approximately a couple of hours if used intensely
If you do programming, the keyboard is not
very comfortable since the right shift key is short and the \ character is not present.

Not at all worth the price, cheap quality and windows was not active and it seemed that someone had already used my device before it got it me (even though it was first hand). Also not as sleek as it claims to be, to the contrary very clunky and heavy. Keypad is surprisingly good but the power button was failing every time I tried to switch it on. Not recommended at all.
